The Nats ended April on a high note as they handled the Pirates 7-2 following a lengthy rain delay. Mark & Al begin with praise for Josiah Gray who only allowed one run in six innings. Gray closes out the opening month with a ERA at 2.67 and has thrown five consecutive solid starts.

Joey Meneses did not have a lot of power in April, but he finishes the month with a .286 average and a RBI single on Sunday.
