Create a LIFE through Chiropractic with Dr Christina Padilla DC - Chiro Hustle Podcast 563
Dr Cristina Padilla Bravo, DC was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed her Bachelor’s in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2014, she graduated from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls NY with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine.
Her interest in women and children’s health lead Dr Padilla Bravo to expand her training in this field with the Webster Technique and Pediatric and Prenatal Certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association – a certification only a handful of Chiropractors possess in the NE Florida region. In 2017, with the mission of serving women and children during the most crucial stages of their lives, Dr Padilla founded Thrive Family Chiropractic in order to provide direct access to Chiropractic for new families in the comfort of their own home. It is her mission to improve the quality of life of children and women during pregnancy and birth and create a space for families to feel safe, respected and empowered within their health journey. Since then, Dr Padilla Bravo has also completed certifications with Birthfit (Birthfit Leader, 2020 and Birthfit Coach, 2021) and expanded her training in women’s health with the Institute for Birth Healing and Dr Nichelle Gurule’s post partum program. Her Craniosacral training was obtained in 2019 with Dr Lori Henrickson.
Over the last few years Dr Padilla has served as a 2-time President of the River City BNI Chapter in Jacksonville, FL. Locally, she was appointed Board Member of the Sanctuary on 8th Street, a non-profit organization that provides after school program for at-risk youth in NE Florida. She is also a Platinum member of the Women Chiropractors non-profit organization, The Northeast Florida Birth Alliance and most recently appointed board member the Women Chiropractors Organization (WDC), an national non-profit that helps women Chiropractors with mentoring, entrepreneurship and financial aid. Dr Padilla herself was the 2020 winner of the Linda Atkinson scholarship for her efforts in promoting women’s health in the community and over the last year has had the opportunity to mentor the 2021 WDC Re-entry class.
