Drew Griffith Shares Insights From His Recent Dominance: Inside His 4:00 Minute Mile & 8:34 National Record 2-Mile Race + His Hopes For The Rest Of The Year
Today on "The Call Room: Road To Seattle" is the champ, Drew Griffith! Drew won the 2023 HOKA Foot Locker National Meet in dominant fashion, winning by over six seconds in a time of 15:06.90. This comes after placing 8th at the meet the year prior. Drew also had an incredible season, winning his first XC State Title in the great state of Pennsylvania. He also ran 14:21 on the grass, making him the 11th fastest ever at the distance. So far this year, Drew broke the indoor national record for the 2-mile running 8:34.91. He also placed third at the 2024 Arcadia Invitational running 8:37.43. Early this indoor season he ran a new PR in the mile of 4:02.71. Drew is committed to run for The University of Notre Dame this Fall.
