Brenda Flores Discusses How Her Recent Sci-Fi Novel Was Influenced By Her 25 Year Career In Law Enforcement

Brenda Flores was this week's guest on Success Profiles Radio. She is a retired police sergeant who was one of the first female police canine trainers and handlers in the country. She also was a sketch artist while serving for 25 years in the police force. She is now a novelist drawing upon her extensive police work, as well as her interest in science fiction. We discussed misconceptions that people have about law enforcement and how this career path has changed for women over the years.
