She has received grants and awards for her work, including Ontario Arts Council Grants, and a Ministry of Industry and Trade Award. She is the author of the books Creating Texture and Creating Texture Soft Textures, and she has a unique history in textile design and printing in business as a college professor and lecturing worldwide.
