Detroit Tigers starter Charlie Morton allowed 6 earned runs in 3.2 innings of work. Detroit Tigers offense was led by Jahmai Jones who had 4 hits including a home run and two RBI. Wenceel Perez added 3 RBI while Zack McKinstry had two hits and 2 RBI. Detroit Tigers bullpen was also shelled by New York Mets hitting as the Mets offense continued to pour it on en route to the 10-8 win.
