The Throwback: UNC's Miracle in the Music City
In the first episode of season two of "The Throwback" on Inside Carolina, the panel takes a deep dive into the 2010 Music City Bowl in Nashville. Though it pitted two geographical rivals against each other, the participating teams were shells of what they could've been. Throw in one of the most bizarre endings that college football has ever seen, and it's easy to see why this game was perfect for deconstruction by the Throwback crew.
Host Joey Powell brings IC writer-extraordinaire Greg Barnes, and UNC's right tackle from that game, Mike Ingersoll, along for the ride as they relive a matchup that was memorable for a myriad of reasons. Then, Offensive MVP of the game Shaun Draughn, spends some time opening up about what that game means to him to this day, and how he remembers his college football finale.
