Book of Joe: Astros take 3-2 series lead, Verlander gets 1st WS win, Strikeout Advantage, and Late round picks
The Book of Joe Podcast begins with Justin Verlander getting his first World Series win. Hosts Tom Verducci and World Series Champion Joe Maddon discuss the Astros winning Game 5 and taking a 3-2 series lead. Joe says Verlander was 'dripping' in experience while working through a few tough spots. Getting the win could be the new complete game in baseball because pitchers just aren't taught to go 9 innings anymore.
