A Conversation With Irene Riggs After Winning USAs & Gatorade XC POY, Setting A National Record, & World XC Preview
Back on the podcast is the one and only Irene Riggs. Since having Irene on the podcast after NXN, she won the USATF U20 Cross Country Championships, and then a few weeks later, ran a national indoor record in the 3200m running 9:45. Irene will be repping the red, white, and blue in Bathurst, Australia on February 18th. Irene also won the 2022-2023 National Girls Cross Country Player of the Year due to her athletic excellence, academic achievements, and exemplary character.
In today's conversation, Irene dives deep into this past month and all of the adventures that came with it. We dive into her training, racing, mindset, and many other fun subjects. We top off the episode answering your questions! Irene is always so much fun to talk with, and we have both a fun and inspiring conversation. I hope you enjoy it as much we did!
Until next time, enjoy my insightful conversation with the perspicacious and ever-inspiring, Irene Riggs!
