Pianist/composer Christian Sands' new album, Embracing Dawn, is a cinematic narration of healing and triumph. It reflects Christian’s personal experience while offering a guide for anyone who has experienced loss of any kind.

The album explores musical styles as varied as neo- and alternative soul, mid-tempo swing, funky gospel, ballads, acoustic jazz-rock, and trap-style beats and features collaborations with bassist Yasushi Nakamura, drummer Ryan Sands, guitarist Marvin Sewell, vibraphonist Warren Wolf, and harmonica player Grégoire Maret.

Embracing Dawn is a masterful example of musical storytelling. Each track represents a chapter in Christian's journey of recovery and acceptance.
