When we learn research from brain science and education, we can live in a more free and “limitless” way.New evidence in brain science contradicts much of what we’ve learned in the past and were taught in school. Namely, we now know that our brains are plastic, so they are constantly changing as we learn.
It was once thought that every person was born with certain gifts and certain people were more inclined to be good at math or the arts. However, this new research suggests that everyone is capable of learning and succeeding at anything.
Unfortunately, many institutions, including schools and boardrooms are still functioning in the old-school mode, which keeps many girls from succeeding at the same rate as boys in the areas of STEM—despite the fact that they have the same innate potential to succeed.
