A rapidly strengthening storm will shut down much of the northeastern United States from Sunday to Monday as snow is forecast to pile up with blizzard conditions in coastal areas.

Also, a series of Pacific storms will bring renewed flooding downpours, gusty winds and heavy snow to the Northwest and Northern California into Tuesday. The snow levels will be much higher than with the storm last week.
