How Going Vegan For 15 Days Can Change Your Health!
What can going vegan for 15 days do for your health? Amazing things!
Dr. Ted Barnett, also known as "Dr. Veggie," joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll on The Exam Room™ podcast to talk about the dramatic improvements he's seen in patients after little more than two weeks. Following a lifetime of high cholesterol, Dr. Barnett says his patients experience a 50-point drop on average. Others who have struggled with their weight will see the scale finally head in the right direction and keep on going! Others with diabetes can also see dramatic improvements with their blood sugar, and that's just the start.
The high-tech doctor with low-tech solutions also shares some of the biggest successes he's witnessed among those who have taken part in his 15-day whole food plant-based jumpstart at the Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Institute. He will be speaking at the upcoming International Conference on Nutrition in Medicine.
Chuck is also joined by Josh LaJaunie who once weighed 420 pounds before devoting himself to a more healthy lifestyle. The result? He wound up on the cover of Runner's World magazine! Josh shares his secrets to transforming into a seasoned marathon runner and also how he's inspired his family to follow in his footsteps. Collectively, they have now lost a half-ton!
Plus, Dr. Neal Barnard pops the top on the myth of diet soda and weight loss!
