Detroit Tigers suffered an 8-4 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Reds in the series finale. Detroit Tigers led 4-2 heading to the top of the 8th inning before the Cincinnati Reds exploded for 4 runs in the 8th and two more in the 9th. Elly De La Cruz had a huge game for the Reds and an even bigger series smashing a home run in each of the three games. Detroit Tigers made several costly mistakes including a season-high 4 errors. Detroit Tigers have an off day tomorrow before closing out the home stand with a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
