Meet the Press

With less than a week until Election Day, the Federal Reserve raises interest rates by 0.75%, in its sixth consecutive rate hike. President Joe Biden plans to address threats to democracy in an evening speech. Gov. Roy Cooper (D-N.C.) discusses midterms messaging on inflation and crime and his support for North Carolina’s Democratic Senate nominee Cheri Beasley. The Oklahoma governor’s race is closer than expected, as Native American tribes in the state put their support behind the Democratic candidate, Joy Hofmeister. Susan Page, Faiz Shakir and Brad Todd join the Meet the Press NOW roundtable.
