Jaya Shiva Shankara with Ramani
Ramani sings the mantra Jaya Shiva Shankara in a Saturday evening Satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg. Jaya Shiva Shankara addresses Shiva in his friendly loving aspect: Shiva means kind, Shankara is the one who does good. Bham, also Bhum, is the sound of Shiva's drum. Hara means to take away - may Shiva take away everything that separates from his experience. But Shiva is also Ati Sundara, exceedingly beautiful. He is Parameshwara, highest God.
