🎾 Serena loses to Maya Joint — Serena Williams's first singles match at Wimbledon in nearly four years ended in a three-set battle with 20-year-old Maya Joint, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6. BG and Nick dissect the comeback, the fight she showed, and what it means going forward.

🎾 Shelton Shocker — Ben Shelton was stunned in the first round, falling to No. 140 Otto Virtanen of Finland in a five-set, 4-hour-21-minute battle on No. 2 Court: 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(8), 6-2, 7-6(11-9). Virtanen saved a match point in the deciding tiebreak before closing it out.

🎾 Sinner's Bloody Shoe — Defending champ Jannik Sinner survived a scare against Miomir Kecmanović, playing through a bloodied shoe after a nasty fall en route to a five-set win. Curt Schilling of the 2004 Boston Red Sox would be proud.
