When George Orwell wrote 1984, the unique feature of the language in the book, known as newspeak, was that it was getting smaller each year, as words were removed from the pool. The loony Left aspires to police speech to that degree, as they legally removed gender-related words from being spoken inside the House of Representatives in 2021. Their reputation for policing words has led the Democratic party to be viewed by the public as Woke busybodies focused on manufactured gender issues and prioritizing nonsense, all while crime is skyrocketing and their cities are coming apart at the seams.
