Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - Aaron Rodgers Gets Roasted, Matthew Stafford is a Stud & the Browns' Baker Mayfield Problem
On today’s episode, Jason does a deep dive into all the biggest headlines to come out of Sunday’s NFL action. If there's one thing we learned over the weekend, it's that negativity sells in sports media... and nobody had a worse weekend than Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. You can't spend your entire offseason engaged in a power struggle with the front office only to lay an egg in Week 1, Aaron. Thankfully for the Packers they should be able to 'get right' against the Detroit Lions next week, but their next games on the schedule are against the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers; Don't be surprised to see Green Bay starts the season 1-3. On the flip side, Matthew Stafford lit up the scoreboard in his debut performance as the Los Angeles Rams' quarterback. Stafford brings an entirely new dimension to what was already a fantastic team. If you haven't already made your Rams Super Bow futures bet, you better get on it. Later, Jason and Producer Rob G get into a little debate about the long-term outlook of the Cleveland Browns. Did their close loss to the Kansas City Chiefs prove that they're a legitimate Super Bowl contender? Or, does the way they melted down in the 4th quarter prove that Baker Mayfield isn't quite ready to go toe-to-toe with the elite quarterbacks in the League?
