Cubs split series in New York, lose 7-6 in extra innings
Ben Brown threw four no-hit innings, Christopher Morel hit a 3-run homer, the Cubs blew a 5-2 lead, but a Nick Madrigal lead off double in the 11th inning to give the Cubs the lead in extra innings, and Daniel Palencia came throwing gas touching 101 mph at times but couldn’t finish the game as the Cubs split the four-game series in New York losing 7-6 on Thursday.
