• In the wake of the firing of Michigan Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore, Kalen DeBoer’s name was yet again mentioned as a replacement. DeBoer released a statement through YeaAlabama! On Sunday saying he had not interest in any other jobs and is happy in Alabama. There are also reports of an extension in the works for DeBoer. DeBoer, again, was asked for clarification at his Monday news conference and went one step further, saying he is definitely back at Alabama for 2026.
