574 - Hunt like an OLD PRO! with Ron "Coach" Watters

This week we are bringing you an interview from the home of Ron "Coach" Watters, a man who has tagged more birds than we have probably ever seen! Ron is a true old-school turkey pro and a custom call maker. He began hunting turkeys in the 1970s and has a family history of turkey hunting in Alabama going back to the 1930's and earlier. We discuss:

• Ron's grandfather, who was killed while turkey hunting in 1939
• Ron's scratch box call made by his grandfather in the 1930's
• The "3 p's" of being a good turkey hunter (or any kind of hunter)
• Covert calling tactics
• Find where a bird calls "home" and hunt him there
