We discuss her recent red carpet experience at Black Girls Rock and what it’s like coming from a career where no one sees you, to suddenly being extremely visible. We touch on HBCU beauty standards, Brittany went to Howard University, and how during college she perfected ‘dressing for the club’. Brittany, who has amazing hair and skin lets me in on some of her secrets: frequent haircuts to promote growth, an AMAZING colorist who took her natural hair all the way blonde without damage, and a semi-consistent (if we’re being honest) AM/PM routine.
