On the 13th of July, Milwaukee’s District 3 Police Officers were called in response to distress calls regarding two naked young boys - aged 7 and 9 - roaming South 71st Street, covered in blood, waste, bruises, and red marks. A 911 caller reported seeing a woman forcefully pulling one of the boys back inside their home. This woman was Katie Koch– And her house, some are calling the Milwaukee House of Horrors.

In the true crime world, we talk about a lot of cases that have previously been solved. However, we also cover quite a bit of cases that are current and need more eyes and ears on watch to try and bring closure to families, be a voice for justice, or bring victims home. The case of financial fraudster and fake German heiress Anna Delvey took the world by storm and even inspired a hit Netflix series. Today we are revisiting the case of Dennis and Cynthia Perkins. Dennis Perkins and his then-wife, a former Livingston Parish schoolteacher, had faced a total of 150 felony charges after their arrests in 2019. Cynthia Perkins pleaded guilty last year to reduced charges and was sentenced to 41 years in prison in a deal contingent upon her testifying against her ex-husband, had he gone to trial. He plead guilty in Jan 2023.

Another woman, Melanie Curtin, received a life sentence last year after a jury found her guilty of helping the ex-deputy rape and film an unconscious woman in 2014. Dennis Perkins was the final defendant to have his case resolved in the sex crimes probe.

In this episode, we're staring straight into the eyes of evil– a person has been characterized as so cold and so remorseless they're almost impossible to fathom. A person whose alleged actions are drawing terrifying parallels to the notorious serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer. The story involves a man from Green Bay, Wisconsin named Shad Thyrion. Shad worked at his family's business with his father and grandfather. He was described as a kind, compassionate person who enjoyed wood carving, camping, games, and family time, but on the inside Shad had a few secrets. And one of those secrets may have ultimately been part of his tragic demise. Don’t get me wrong, his secret interests were no reason for him to die. However, around 3:25 am on February 23rd 2022, he was found dead. In the most horrible way. All that was found was his head… In a bucket. But who would do this? Well, some people are saying it’s someone who is sick and twisted enough to be a female version of Jeffrey Dahmer.

Additionally, there have been an alarming number of false rumors surrounding this case that have no basis in reality that we have to address! Bryan Kohberger was recently arraigned for his 5 felony charges, four counts of first-degree murder, and one count of burglary in the deaths of Xana, Ethan, Maddie, and Kaylee that happened at the University of Idaho in November. Since his arrest several months ago, there have been multiple dateline episodes and other documentaries by major media outlets have since been released offering it’s viewers a look at what happened, but also information about Bryan’s alleged involvement, rumors, and information from anonymous sources. There also has been some new information that has come to light. 

Lori Vallow was also recently convicted on her murder charges for the deaths of children. With both of these insane cases both happening in Idaho, it really got me thinking and I wanted to take a closer look into the mind of these criminals/alleged criminals in Bryan’s case from a psychological perspective.
