Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. We apologize for missing you guys last week, we get into why there was no episode last week in today's episode. Before we get there, the boys recap the rest of the Super Bowl week out in San Francisco. Delanie hooked the boys up and got us into a section that was more VIP than Joe Burrow, the guys saw Post Malone and Green Day in the same night and caught a set from Disco Lines. After Super Bowl week, all of Bussin' With The Boys had off and the guys went on vacation. Garrett went across the pond to Amsterdam and Germany, Jack went to maybe the best city in the country in San Diego, Mitch hit up Charleston and JP connected with an old friend in Dallas. Finally the boys get into it with the B team as to why there was no episode last week. Let us know in the comments if you believe the B team deserves another shot of having their own episode. Enjoy and as always much love.

For The Dads is for every guy who needs a place to talk, vent, and laugh about all the insane, hilarious, and chaotic sh** (sometimes literal) that comes with being a dad.

Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing.

Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a recently new father who’s currently deep in the trenches of Fatherhood and loving every minute of it. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world.

Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way.

Recorded: February 9th 2026 | On this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan kick things off talking about the vacation's they are currently on. Will is soaking up the sun in Hawaii while Taylor is up in Canada. The boys dive into into debates about the worst TV endings of all time like The Sopranos and Game Of Thrones.

Then Bryce Harper joins the boys on the bus before heads to Florida for the start of MLB Spring Training. The boys immediately dive into Nashville food scene and Bryce is on the side of Taylor, it could be improved. Bryce then gets into what it was like growing up being coined as “The Chosen One.” He gets into his journey in high school and how he decided to leave high school early to enroll in college so that he could be drafted earlier, which is a wild story. The guys get into some of the unwritten rules about baseball and how Bryce ended up fighting a pitcher which is a hilarious story. Bryce talks about what all went into him leaving the Washington Nationals and what lead him to eventually signing with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Bryce then brings up how the President of Baseball Operations called him "no longer and eliter player". He gets into how he felt about those comments and how that isn't something that really motivates him. He has also been very vocal as to why baseball should not have a salary cap and he dives into why he feels that way. The boys also ask Bryce how much longer he wants/plans to continue play and the answer may surprise you.

If you’re into MLB interviews, Bryce Harper highlights, locker room stories, free agency drama, and unfiltered athlete conversations, you will love this episode. As always, bug hugs and tiny kisses.

On this episode of Best of the Bus, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan sat down with Panthers legend and one of the smartest linebackers to ever play the game, Luke Kuechly last offseason. Kuechly was just inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame!

From his early love of football to becoming the heartbeat of the Carolina Panthers defense, Luke breaks down how he saw the game differently than everyone else—and why instinct and preparation made him one of the most dominant players of his era.

Luke opens up about his early retirement after multiple concussions and gives an honest look at the toll the NFL can take. He shares stories from Boston College, training at IMG before the Draft, his NFL Combine experience, draft night emotions, and what it was like playing alongside Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey. The boys also dive into rookie-year moments, getting Mossed by Julio Jones, the veteran linebackers who shaped him, and how he could seemingly read quarterbacks’ minds snap after snap.

Elite football IQ. Locker room stories. Legendary plays broken down in real time. This as one of the best episodes of the year in 2025!

Big hugs and tiny kisses.

Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are joined by NFL legends Clay Matthews and Delanie Walker to break down Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.

The boys dive into Sam Darnold winning his first Super Bowl and just how dominant Seattle looked all season long. They also discuss Kenneth Walker III taking home Super Bowl MVP and what his huge performance could mean as he heads toward free agency and a potential payday.

In our Jim Beam Taste of the Offseason segment, the crew looks ahead to the future of the New England Patriots, pouring one out for our guy Mike Vrabel while recognizing how much this team overachieved this year. With Drake Maye at quarterback, New England’s future is still bright.

The guys also recap Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, while Delanie and Clay share what it’s really like playing in a Super Bowl and how the week leading up to the game compares to a normal NFL game week.

It’s the final football recap show of the season, and the boys bring the juice. Tap in.

Recorded: April 4, 2022 | On this Best of the Bus, we’re throwing it back to when Sam Darnold hopped on the bus for a great conversation with The Boys. Sam walks through his football journey from his high school days and recruiting process all the way through his time at USC and into the NFL.

The conversation dives into what it was like being part of that loaded QB class with Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen, and Sam breaks down the famous “seeing ghosts” moment and the real pressure that comes with playing quarterback at the highest level. The guys also get into Jets fan expectations, what it was like sharing a locker room with Cam Newton, and plenty of real locker room stories you won’t hear anywhere else.

If you missed this one the first time around, this is a must listen. And if you already heard it, it’s absolutely worth running back again.

In the summer, the boys went to New England for a Patriots training camp tour, and now, just months later, the Pats are in the Super Bowl. The guys sat down for a must-hear interview with Mike Vrabel, who had just taken over as the Patriots’ head coach. Vrabel opened up about his departure from the Titans, his brief stop in Cleveland, and what it was like stepping into the challenge of rebuilding New England’s culture. He also shared stories about Jameis Winston’s locker room energy and discussed his vision for the Patriots moving forward.

Next, the guys caught up with quarterback Drake Maye, who was entering his second year in the league, as he reflected on his rookie season, his NFL Draft experience, and what it was like becoming the starter midway through the year. Drake also talked about how Coach Vrabel kept him on his toes and helped him grow as a young quarterback.

Linebacker Robert Spillane joined the show to share his incredible journey from an NFL open tryout to earning a $33 million contract. Spillane reflected on his grind, his early years with the Titans, and the passion that kept him chasing his NFL dream.

To wrap up the Patriots stop, Mack Hollins joined the boys to explain why he never wears shoes, how a random meeting with Australians shifted his mindset, and how close he came to walking away from the game.

If you missed this one over the summer, it’s a must-listen. And if you already heard it, it’s definitely worth running back again. Enjoy, boys.

Recorded: January 26th 2026 | On this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Taylor Lewan welcomes Josh “The Weatherman” Pate for a conversation that somehow blends natural disasters with college football chaos — perfectly on brand. The show opens with Taylor breaking down why it is just him on the show as Will is stuck without power and phone service. Josh joins Taylor to breakdown what exactly made Winter Storm Fern so dangerous and catastrophic. He gets into the science behind freezing rain, why it’s so dangerous, and what it means for cities like Nashville when Mother Nature decides to go nuclear.

Once the storms pass, it’s time to talk ball. The boys react to the CFP National Championship and give their biggest takeaways from the title game, including what it means for the future of the power balance in college football. They debate whether Indiana’s run is a flash in the pan or a sign of real staying power, and question if Miami is headed for a tougher road than expected next season.

To wrap it up, the crew looks ahead at some of the sport’s biggest brands and their outlooks moving forward. Michigan and Alabama both get the microscope as the boys break down expectations, pressure, and what success looks like next year. As well as what it will look like for Ohio State after they hired Arthur Smith and what that move could mean for the Buckeyes offensively. If you are in need of an escape from everything, look no further than here. Come join the boys for a fun hang and fun listen. Please stay safe out there and as always, big hugs tiny kisses.

Recorded: January 26th 2026 | On this weeks Monday NFL Recap, Taylor is hitting this one by himself with help from the boys in the back. The boys recap the NFC and AFC Championship games from this past weekend.

The first game was the New England Patriots traveling out to the Denver Broncos. The biggest question going into this game was how backup quarterback, Jarrett Stidham, was going to play. He ended up not playing that bad but the weather became more of an issue. The snow had a massive factor in that game which may have been why Drake Maye only threw for 86 yards. Taylor breaks down the game and how Mike Vrabel's coaching was an x-factor.

Then the boys get into the NFC Championship where the Los Angeles Rams traveled up to the Seattle Seahawks for a rubber match between the division foes. This game was high flying with points being scored everywhere. Taylor believes that Sam Darnold has officially put the haters to rest as he threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a massive game is basically unstoppable.

Finally the boys give their Super Bowl predictions, the bus is divided on who they are riding with. Le us know in the comments who you are taking. Enjoy fellas.

On this week’s Monday NFL recap, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan break down the biggest storylines from around the league, from playoff implications to coaching drama and controversial moments.

The boys start with Super Bowl predictions before diving into Bills vs. Broncos and the ongoing Josh Allen conversation, explaining why he shouldn’t be taking all the blame for Buffalo’s situation. From there, they hit Texans vs. Patriots and debate the Brandin Cooks catch-or-no-catch that had everyone fired up.

Later, the focus shifts to Sean McDermott’s future in Buffalo, followed by breakdowns of Rams vs. Bears and 49ers vs. Seahawks as the playoff picture continues to take shape. The episode wraps with a classic Bussin’ debate on Mike Vrabel and a look ahead to the College Football National Championship.

If you love NFL recaps, playoff talk, quarterback debates, and unfiltered football conversations, this one’s for you.

Recorded: July 6th 2023 | On this episode of Best of the Bus, the boys sat down with legendary comedian Tom Segura for an all-time conversation back in 2023.

The guys jumped right into football, with Tom breaking down his love for the game as a massive college football fan. He talked about playing in high school and shared a hilarious story about how he almost played in college. Tom also told some wild stories involving Ndamukong Suh, which Will was able to confirm or deny.

After football, the conversation shifted to Tom’s comedy career. He walked through his journey from making funny videos in college to realizing comedy was the path he wanted to pursue. Tom described what it felt like to blow up, his progression from small theaters to selling out massive arenas, and the pros and cons of using streaming platforms to promote comedy.

Will and Taylor, of course, asked Tom about his best friend Bert Kreischer. Tom broke down who he thought had the better work ethic between the two and closed the episode by listing his top three pet peeves about Bert. Each one was funnier than the last, capped off with a spot-on Bert impersonation you won’t want to miss.

Enjoy.

On this weeks Monday NFL recap, Will Compton, Taylor Lewan and Greg Olsen break down NFL Wild Card Weekend, playoff momentum, and the biggest performances from around the league.

The Packers vs Bears game turns into a full breakdown of Caleb Williams playing out of his mind, making unreal off-platform throws and showing why he’s already one of the most exciting quarterbacks in football.

The conversation shifts to 49ers vs Eagles, where San Francisco continues to win despite dealing with key injuries, knocking off an Eagles team that arguably has the most talented roster in the NFL—raising serious questions about Philly’s future and playoff ceiling.

Then it’s Bills vs Jaguars, as the boys give flowers to Josh Allen, breaking down why he’s the best player in the NFL right now and how he single-handedly willed Buffalo to a playoff win with his arm, legs, and leadership.

If you love NFL playoff breakdowns, quarterback talk, Wild Card reactions, and unfiltered locker-room conversations, this one’s for you.

Recorded: January 5th 2026 | On this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan interview new head coach of Michigan football, Kyle Whittingham, and 2x Pro Bowl safety for the Chicago Bears, Kevin Byard!

The boys kick things off previewing Jarod Beeman's standup show, and a roundtable of New Year’s resolutions—including Jack McPherson, Mitch’s new diet, JP committing to a book a month, Taylor reading more, writing more, and goals around getting to bed earlier, giving back, and being more charitable. There’s plenty of classic Bussin’ banter along the way, including gout talk, fandom debates, Mr. Beast crossing into college football, and Taylor’s Uber Eats pet peeve.

From there, the show transitions into a sit-down with Kyle Whittingham, who opens up about the move from Utah to Michigan, navigating the modern NIL era, and what it takes to build culture at a new program. Whittingham clears up retirement rumors, reflects on his time at Utah with no regrets, breaks down expectations for Michigan’s offense and defense, and shares thoughts on meeting the team during bowl season, adopting Michigan’s iconic blue, staying off the internet, motorcycles, skiing with players, and an incredible 6,500-day workout streak. Taylor and Will close out the interview with a debrief on what stood out from the conversation.

Later in the episode, Kevin Byard joins the show to preview Bears vs. Packers and talk through leadership in Chicago, starting slow amid outside noise, adapting to a new team, and what makes the Green Bay rivalry different. KB dives into game planning, defensive details, NIL hypotheticals, money vs. program culture, SEC vs. Big Ten debates, Ben Johnson vs. Mike Vrabel philosophies, Caleb Williams, and when he truly bought into the Bears’ locker room.

The episode wraps with more Bussin chaos, clean takes, and a Stranger Things finale discussion to send it home.

Big Hugs.
Tiny Kisses.

Recorded Feb 10, 2021 | On this episode of Best of the Bus, we kick it back to Episode 85 of Bussin’ With The Boys, when The Boys welcomed Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson onto the bus for an absolute classic.

To kick things off, Chad talked about what brought him to Nashville, Will revisited all the tweets he had sent Ocho over the years, and the boys looked back on some of Chad’s favorite trash talk moments from his NFL career.

Chad then broke down how he played on “All-Madden” throughout his entire career, shared his thoughts on the top wide receivers in the league at the time, and even hinted that he might still have one NFL season left in him.

The conversation also touched on his unconventional path to the league, including playing semi-pro soccer, before Professor Ocho took over and schooled the entire bus on how to properly handle a first date.

To close things out, Chad addressed some early-career rumors, reflected on what it was like playing for the New England Patriots, and talked about a few media projects he was working on at the time.

Enjoy.

67 min Transcript
View

In this episode of For The Dads, we take a trip down memory lane and look back on the laughs, the tears, and the moments that defined our first year together.

From the very first episode to where we are now, we revisit the stories, sayings, and inside jokes that helped shape the show—and the community around it. These are the moments that made us laugh out loud, hit pause to reflect, and realize we were all going through this dad thing together.

Thank you to everyone who’s been along for the ride. When we started For The Dads, we had no idea where it would lead—but creating a space to talk honestly about fatherhood, in all its highs and lows, wouldn’t be possible without you.

Here’s to another year of learning, laughing, and showing up for our families. 🍻

Recorded Aug 6, 2019 | On this episode of Best of the Bus, we’re throwing it all the way back to Season 1 of Bussin’ With The Boys when Will Compton and Taylor Lewan had Jalen Ramsey hop on the bus.

Ramsey and the boys cover everything—from sliding into opposing wide receivers’ girlfriends’ DMs in college to get inside their heads, internet trolls, and elite-level trash talk on the field. Jalen also reacts to Taylor’s wild go-to trash talk line, breaks down his rivalry with the Titans, his beef with Taylor Lewan, life in Jacksonville, conversations after his rookie contract, aliens, and his obsession with Rihanna.

It’s unfiltered, hilarious, and peak early-season Bussin’ energy with one of the most confident personalities in the league.

Enjoy.

In this episode of For The Dads with Former NFL Linebacker Will Compton, hosts Will and Sherman break down Will’s Christmas trip to New York City that turned into full-blown chaos when Will’s entire family got sick. What should’ve been a magical holiday quickly became a crash course in dad survival, patience, and choosing humor when everything goes sideways.

The episode kicks off with Christmas chaos from the jump, as Will recaps how fast plans unraveled, why he still loves NYC, and what it’s like parenting through sickness while trying to keep the holiday spirit alive. The boys then dive into gift-giving expectations, fan comments, and the pressure dads feel to make Christmas “perfect.”

Other highlights include:

  • Uncle Derrik’s gifts to the pod
    • Will and Sherman’s favorite gifts growing up
    • An absolutely insane dad hack from a caller
    • Why choosing joy beats stressing over things you can’t control

—---

TIMELINE

00:00 - Christmas Chaos

9:00 - Will loves NYC

45:00 - Gift Giving

1:01:00 - The fellas read some fan comments

1:22:00 - Caller leaves an INSANE dad hack

1:24:33 - Will reads some emails

1:33:00 - Choose joy over stress

—---

Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young.

Recorded: December 22nd 2025 | Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are back on the bus with a special guest this week — College Football Playoff quarterback Ty Simpson of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Before Ty hops on, the boys kick things off by breaking down Taylor Lewan’s trip to Norman, Oklahoma and College Station, including a little sideline-pass drama that had things getting spicy. Will Compton also recaps his family Christmas trip to New York City — which somehow went fantastic.

Then Ty Simpson joins the show and this one takes off. Ty dives into his journey to Alabama, what it was like being recruited by Nick Saban, and the chaos of winning in Norman against the Sooners — complete with 50 Cent, wild fanfare, and an unforgettable atmosphere. He breaks down the Crimson Tide’s epic comeback, his mindset in the middle of the madness, and what it takes to stay ready when your moment comes.

Ty’s been a Tier 1 Bussin’ With The Boys supporter for a long time, and the boys reflect on first meeting him back when he was a third-string quarterback — leading to plenty of laughs, stories, and locker-room energy. Plus, Jack McPherson sneaks in a breakdown of a hockey game featuring Matt “Ferda” Malone because… of course he does.

Football stories, playoff pressure, Alabama culture, and classic bus chaos — this one’s got it all.
