Andreas Bovensiepen is the CEO of Alpina, the famous company that takes BMWs and turns them into some of the fastest and most exclusive sleepers available. When it comes to engine tuning, Mitch McKee knows it. He spent years working for Vivid racing and COBB before opening his own company, M Engineering. They write software (and some hardware) upgrades for high-dollar exotics like McLaren, Porsche, and Lamborghini. As you'll learn from the show, they don't do simple reflash or throttle maps, either. When it comes to car adventures, Ed Bolian has had a lot of them. If you haven't heard of BBI, they make some of the fastest Porsches on Earth, from GT2s to Taycans and everything in between. They built the 1,400HP (!) engine for Ken Block's crazy PPIHC car -the Hoonipigasus- and were instrumental in the design, assembly, and management of that car. They've also built and managed racing and hill-climb programs for a number of other cars, including breaking Pikes Peak Time Attack record in 2019 by over 14 seconds. ⁠

Chris Otwell and Graham Suorsa are the directors of "The Fastest Woman on Earth", the documentary about the late Jessi Combs. Jessi rose to fame on television as a host on "Mythbusters", "Overhaulin'", "All Girls Garage", and "The List". She was also the first female Grand Marshall of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. 

Most notably, she set the women's land speed record in 2019, with an average speed of 522.783 MPH. Unfortunately she was killed during the second run.

We talk to Chris and Grant about the process of working with and filming Jessi, how the project came to be, the importance of Kitty O'Neil's story and her impact on Jessi, the importance of the record, why they left the crash in the movie, and most importantly, why Jessi made such an impression on everyone she met.

Dai Yoshihara is a  professional driver who has competed in Formula D,  Time Attack, Road Racing, and Hill Climb. And it all started with a motorcycle. Sort of. 

On this episode we find out how Dai got his start in driving, drifting, and the unlikely meeting that led to his first drift event and ultimately, his career. Dai walks us through his car history; the differences between road racing and drifting; why he loves the Pikes Peak Hill Climb; his AE86 builds; and the one race car he would own if he could.

Some of his most notable  moments: he won the Formula D championship in 2011, 3rd place in the 25  Hours of Thunderhill, 1st overall in the 2019 Global Time Attack Super  Lap Battle,  and took 1st place in the Unlimited class  (and 9th  overall) at the  Pikes Peak International Hill Climb of 2020. He's also  been a drift judge, a precision driver,  co-hosted a show on Hagerty  along with our own Zack Klapman, and has been the face of many brands.

Ash Thorp @ashthorp is a digital artist, illustrator and designer. Among many accolades, he did the visual design of the Batmobile for the 2022 film, "The Batman".

But he's more than that. Ash started with nothing and never got a fine art degree, be has used an eclectic mix of technology and creative thought to become a highly successful and respected member of the art community.

On the automotive side, Ash has owned over 20 cars, including an AE86, S2000, EF hatch, and a Raptor, among others.

Randy Thomas Lanier is a man with some seriously incredible stories. He is a professional race car driver and convicted drug trafficker from the United States. Yes, you read that correctly. Two endeavors that grew together to heights few have experienced. 
 

He is best known for his racing efforts in the mid-1980s, including winning the 1984 IMSA Camel GT title for the wholly independent Blue Thunder Racing team, placing 9th in the 1986 INDY 500, and becoming the Rookie of the Year at that same race. In 1988, Randy was arrested for marijuana smuggling and sentenced to life in prison without parole under the Continuing Criminal Enterprise statute (also known as the "Super Drug Kingpin" law). 
 

We talk to Randy about his late start in racing; how he ascended through the ranks so quickly; beating Porsche; a factory ride offer; how it came crashing down; and how he found purpose and happiness.
