Join us for a chat with the founder of @michalmorrisonskincare as she shares the story behind the creation of the Genesis βSTEM6TM Molecular Serum, which aims to define and lead a new category of biomimetic skincare technology with its proven, proprietary, and patent-pending βSTEM6 molecule. This biotech breakthrough has a mechanism of action validated by 25 years of research in stem cell science and regenerative medicine from the laboratory of Dr. Michael Kahn. The βSTEM6 molecule will be exclusively available in Michal Morrison products. The company was founded by Austin-based entrepreneur Michal Ann Morrison, who previously survived a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2016 and has since become a passionate advocate for people with disabilities. βSTEM6 is a nextgen, patent-pending ‘metamoleculeTM’ that restores the self-rejuvenating power of our skin that has diminished over time. The result of over two decades of research in regenerative medicine and recent advances in stem cell science, βSTEM6 uses your biology’s inherent potential to extend cell longevity. As the first and only bioserum with βSTEM6, this molecular superpower works with the skin’s chemistry to awaken the millions of cells responsible for healthy-looking skin. A formal and independent clinical study was conducted by one of the country’s preeminent board-certified dermatologists and President of Dermatology Consulting Services, PLLC, Dr. Zoe Draelos, M.D. The study demonstrated dramatic improvements in the multiple signs of skin aging such as facial lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity and uneven pigmentation. The inspiration for the development of the company’s proprietary and patent-pending intellectual property, the βSTEM6 molecule, was Michal’s association with Dr. Fuqiang Ruan, an innovative scientist with a doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry who had previously worked in Dr. Kahn’s laboratory. Dr. Michael Kahn is currently Professor of Cancer Biology and Molecular Medicine at the Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

Join us for a discussion with the visionary and leading surgeon behind the skincare that has been to space and back, Dr Yannis Alexandrides. In this episode Dr Yannis explains the new trends in aesthetic medicine and how 111SKIN is paving the way to make surgically precise skincare the new benchmark for achieving truly transformative results from topical products. DR. YANNIS ALEXANDRIDES is an American and British board certified plastic surgeon specialising in facial reconstructive and rejuvenation surgery. Since 2001 he has been the founder, director and head of surgical practice at 111 HARLEY ST. in London, one of the city’s most renowned cosmetic surgery practices specialising in both surgical and non-surgical procedures.A pioneer in innovative cosmetic treatments, Dr. Yannis was among the first in his field to advocate non-surgical procedures to his clients with his ethos being that surgery is always the last resort. This unique perspective combined with the success of his original Dramatic Healing Serum that Dr Yannis developed and used on his patients as a part of their post-surgical aftercare led to the launch of 111SKIN. An advanced anti-ageing product range featuring a key proprietary formula NAC Y2, 111SKIN combines Dr. Yannis’ knowledge of effectively targeting the signs of ageing with space scientists’ expertise in protecting the skin against environmental damage. In keeping with the holistic approach that Dr. Yannis takes to his work and his belief that a patient’s overall health and wellness need to be addressed before embarking on any aesthetic treatments, 2016 saw the launch of 111CRYO, the first full body, non-nitrogen cryotherapy chamber in the UK, exclusively at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. Most recently, Dr. Yannis has launched 111SPA/CLINIC by 111SKIN; a revolutionary spa concept offering the latest aesthetic performance face and body treatments for the first time in a multi-sensory spa environment. Inspired by his surgical expertise, powered by clinically-engineered, aesthetician-grade skincare and utilising in-clinic technology, 111SPA/CLINIC by 111SKIN is a true fusion of proven clinical results within a luxurious, sensual experience.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

“I am so excited to introduce you guys to someone I truly consider to be a rising star in the skincare realm. She is educated and one of the most NON-MESSY scientists when it comes to her knowledge and dedication. Absolutely obsessed. Also her line is phenomenal which doesn’t hurt !” - Dr Ekta“I'm a cosmetic formulation chemist who, after years of product development for tons of other brands, quit my job to start a skincare line called Educated Mess. While working in formulation, I was always fascinated to learn about new ingredient technologies and delivery systems, but found it frustrating that the brands I was working with seemed to care more about marketing buzzwords than product efficacy- there was such a disconnect between the chemist and the consumer. Together with my business partner Catherine, we started Educated Mess and hope to provide top notch products while bridging the marketing gap that seems to exist throughout the beauty industry. No BS, no marketing fluff and greenwashing- just real, science-backed ingredients and formulas. In my efforts to spread the word about Educated Mess via TikTok, I found another skincare-related passion in helping others interpret ingredient lists and make informed decisions when buying skincare products, and that's been even more fun than I could have expected. I hope to continue to help others better understand skincare without overcomplicating things the way that the internet has allowed for too long.”Alex Padgett, Founder of EDUCATED MESS--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

In this episode we sat down with Sarah Brown, founder and CEO of PaiSkincare, and an organic skincare pioneer whose expertise developing all-natural, efficacious products was born from her own experience living with challenging skin.Sarah developed Chronic Urticaria in her mid-twenties and started mixing her own formulations from her garage as a last ditch solution for her hyper reactiveskin.Pai launched in 2007 at a time when theorganic category was under-developed and clean beauty wasn’t yet a thing. Sarah was one of the early champions of certified organic, responsibly cultivated ingredients, passionately believing in their therapeutic properties when many around her didn’t. In this episode, Sarah dives into the details around creating a truly organic and clean brand and how the evolution of this niche of skincare has come with hurdles and challenges that very few can say they have kept up with. PAI is truly a leader in clean beauty and continues to pave the path to new standards and benchmarks for what we consider to be “clean.”--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

Join us for a phenomenal discussion with the lovely Aila Morin, SVP of MERIT’s Growth, Brand & Innovation. Aila shares the evolution of the minimalism inspired line from being makeup dominant, towards an active presence in the realm of skincare. MERIT has taken the spotlight with their latest launch being their debut skin product , “Great Skin™ Instant Glow Serum.” Aila explains the difference between creating skincare for the true minimalist and the challenges and discoveries that allowed the brand to express their underlying DNA in the skin space without compromising on science. MERIT’s entry into skincare is something that has been carefully designed to not only appeal to a large audience, but also narrow down on the niche crowds of consumers who want quality at their finger tips and versatility amongst their skin products. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

Beauty HAC was created by Skincare and Beauty Expert Hillary Anne ClarkMakeup Artist and Esthetician, Hillary Clark, has spent over two decades dedicated to helping women find what really works for their skin. Born into a family of beauty entrepreneurs, Hillary became the youngest Beauty Director in Nordstrom history before joining the founding team of beauty disruptors at Sephora.com as their West Coast Beauty Editor. She has collaborated with and learned from beauty gurus like Dr. Nicholas Perricone and worked the runways for major designers. With her own by-appointment beauty boutique, Blush Beauty, she realized there were products missing in the world. Hillary envisioned a future where skincare no longer means 10-step regimens and a cluttered beauty cabinet. That's why she HAC'd the typical skincare routine by combining Age-Defying Formulas + Detoxifying Rollers to care for skin from the inside out and the outside in. Plus, with just two problem-solving products, Beauty HAC was designed to play well with others meaning, that the formulas and rollers work well with, and often enhance the ingredients in existing skincare practices.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support

In this episode we chatted with co-founder of MASAMI haircare, Lynn Power as she explained the immensely nourishing and hydrating Japanese rituals that inspired her and James’ beautiful Haircare line. Lynn dives into the philosophy of the traditional hair care routines we often overlook by indulging in over-sudsy products or those that strip away the natural moisture of our scalp and hair. In the words of the brand , “James and Lynn have a passion for haircare that is unmatched -- an unwavering commitment to formulate clean haircare products that hydrate like nothing else for the past decade (which is how long it took to create MASAMI's clean formulation). We wanted people to feel great about their hair everyday -- not just great because their hair looked amazing, but their hair was truly healthy, hydrated and manageable. Botanically hydrating Mekabu, beneath the Wakame leaf, is filled with ocean vitamins and minerals to leave your hair healthy, shiny and gorgeous. All of MASAMI's products are infused with Mekabu powder, fresh from Japan where we source it from a family owned seaweed company.”--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/skincareanarchy/support
