Happy Blue Moon Supermoon Lunar Eclipse in Leo! It is a powerful day filled with a lot of Feminine energy. We are invited to connect with how we truly feel in our hearts, as well as IF we have given parts of ourselves away in order to fit into the crowd, belong to a group, or if we've stay too attached to a dream that has served its purpose - and now we must return to the heart for new inspiration. The Sun is now in Capricorn as we welcome the darkest day in the northern hemisphere known as the Winter Solstice. This is an extra significant energy shift this year because Saturn also entered Capricorn within the last 24 hours and we must return to our top responsibilities and commitments - the work begins. If you can just avoid people this week... ?? Okay, that's probably not possible, so here's a heads up that the 3 interpersonal relationship planets - Mercury, Venus, and Mars - are all going to be in the signs of their detriment starting this week. When a planet is in "detriment" it means it is furthest from it's natural energies and it typically struggles because it's really far from 'home'. There are exceptions, and all planets/signs have low and high expressions... but it can help to know that relationships and communications may be a tad off, so adjust your expectations accordingly and take time to get clear within yourself first. Mercury in Sagittarius (most comfortable in Gemini) - words can be direct, exaggerated, bold, and opinionated; he misses the details and doesn't want to talk about it, anyways - he already knows the answers! Venus in Scorpio (most comfortable in Taurus or Libra) - doesn't know who she can trust and keeps her true emotions to herself, which can make people not trust her in return; internalizes and longs for deep connection, but can be overly focused on what other people think/need/say/feel. Mars in Libra (most comfortable in Aries) - a paralyzed warrior who has to sit down and talk it out instead of taking action; gets caught up in the pros and cons, and overthinking leads to nothing happening. The New Moon in Libra at 26 degrees on October 19 has wonderful, supportive energies for putting time and effort into relationships that support cooperation, negotiation, reciprocity, and shared values. The Virgo New Moon has focus and tension, signalling we are ready for something to provide a purpose even if we feel stalled out, defeated, discouraged, or low energy. Purpose, Practical, Perfection, Particulars - all of these are Virgo words and they come to our awareness so we can check-in with ourselves and see how our daily lives are supporting and serving us. August 21st is the Total Solar Eclipse at 28 degrees Leo and the Universe is telling you IT's SHOWTIME in this area of your natal astrology chart. Ready or not, here you go and it's going to be a risk in some way - but hopefully FUN as well since Leo is the inner child and play time. However, Mercury in retrograde in Virgo is showing us what needs to be re-worked, re-vised, re-contemplated, and sat with until later in September. This is a wonderful gift as we are being given time to work with the details and find the most perfect next steps. I feel that it alleviates some pressure, don't you?
