Sedna is a dwarf planet beyond Pluto connected with how we transmute and emotionally move through the depths of our emotional world. In mythology, Sedna is an Intuit Goddess who rules the seas, oceans, and marine life, similar to Neptune, but she dives into the underworlds of what resides within our emotional needs. Sedna was betrayed, rejected, and abandoned in her story, and had to move through the deepest areas of her needs to reclaim her power and choices. Sedna has been traveling through Taurus since June 1966, and will enter Gemini in June 2023, making ongoing trines to Pluto in Capricorn as it moves into Aquarius. Eclipse energies have been very powerful in this cycle, signaling that it is very necessary to trust your energy levels and body consciousness even more. From the middle of October through nearly the end of November (and one more time in March 2023), Mars in Gemini will be squaring Neptune RX in Pisces and creating an additional slow down for Mars to move through, especially during his retrograde phase from October 30 until January 13. Mars is receiving blasts of energy that take him out of his normal operating procedures and reliance on the mind, body, and personal needs. Big relationship energies are activated as Venus travels with the Sun from Libra into Scorpio as this eclipse cycle begins. Jupiter returns to Pisces for two months to help us in completing karma, soul contracts, lessons, and a chapter in our lives so we can move on to the new beginnings that we’re ready for next. The fourth Saturn in Aquarius – Uranus in Taurus square occurs during the first half of October 2022, as both planets are in retrograde at 18 degrees. Mercury retrograde begins on Sept 9 at 9 degrees Libra and travels back to 24 degrees Virgo, making powerful connections to both Jupiter RX in Aries and Pluto RX in Capricorn. The final week of August ends with Mars in Gemini squaring the Sun in Virgo, creating impatience and annoyance, while also opening us up to new possibilities, choices, and considerations after the intense energies of July and August. Uranus is retrograde in Taurus from August 24, 2022 until January 23, 2023, traveling from 19 degrees back to 15 degrees in your natal chart.
