In Episode 531: The Joshua Tree Cult Leader we are joined by James. He reached out after hearing Episode 512: Desert Portal Death Cult because the story being revealed in that episode sounded extremely similar to what he had gone through. James was in charge of soldiers that were getting kicked out of the military and one soldier always stuck out to him more than the others. This soldier lived in a house with other people that would call him "father" and he called them "his children." On an extended weekend, this soldier asked James to take him out to a party in Joshua Tree that had RVs and tents all over which is what was described in episode 512. It turns out we are nearly 100% sure that this location was the exact location from episode 512 but 5 years earlier.

In Episode 530: Surviving MK-ULTRA we are joined by Juliette M. Engel, M.D. As a little girl, Dr. Engel was sold into the CIA program known as MK-Ultra. At 17 years old she escaped and integrated into society with no memories of her childhood. She went on to get her medical degree and start her own practice. As a highly sought-after doctor, she built a reputation for professionalism, and was even one of the first doctors allowed into Russia after the USSR fell in order to help rebuild their medical programs. Her life seemed to be on the path of the successful American dream, until she started to have flashes of memories come back to her, memories of a childhood she didn't recognize. Through a series of events, she started to seek counseling and asked her parents questions about her childhood. In response, her parents essentially told her to kill herself or they were going to disappear forever. Dr. Engel joins The Confessionals to share her life story as she remembers it now and to sound the alarm on the realities of the MK-Ultra program.

In Episode 529: The Pink Portal Door we are joined by returning guest Melissa. She first appeared in episode 175: It Dragged Me Down The Hall (also it was just rebroadcast as a Reloaded Monday) where she talked about being haunted by an entity her entire life. This entity got so violent that it literally drug her out of bed and down the hallway. She left us off in the first conversation talking about how she believes this thing has attached itself to her son Jack. Today she joins me again to give an update as there are new developments that she would like to share. It seems like the attachment has shifted completely towards Jack and Melissa believes it's because he is special. Jack talks about seeing a pink door that takes him to other places and after knowing what I know now, I believe Jack is describing something that is literally happening. As she is talking in this episode we both hear things moving and speaking into her phone, her dogs act very unhinged and her phone hung up on me multiple times.

In Episode 528: Virginia Mountain Dracula we are joined by Glen. He emailed the show to tell of a wild encounter he had as a child that involved the seemingly dead body of Dracula in the mountains of Virginia. On the surface with the limited information we had in the email, we thought the story was a little far-fetched. But, there were some things in the email that left us thinking there might be something to the story. As he and I started talking he filled in the gaps of information that he left out of the email which made this scenario all the more plausible in my mind. Mainly, his grandfather was a very powerful warlock practicing a very dark and sinister form of black magick.

In Episode 527: Haunted Sleepover with The Confessionals we are joined by Laura. In Episode 311: The Mysterious Egress Industries, we are joined by Kyle and Steve from The Holosky Podcast. A couple of months ago I was contacted by a mutual listener, informing me about some of the crazy things that were happening on their show. Boy, they were not kidding! It all started when Steve was doing some research on Reddit for one of their upcoming shows, and stumbled across "dream flyers" that asked peculiar questions and advertised a phone number for "Egress Industries." Steve thought it could be an interesting idea for the show, and bought a burner phone to conduct their experiment. Steve and Kyle used it to contact the number on the flyer, and that’s when things began to progress out of hand! They were connected to a guy named Bob who was also experiencing bizarre happenings involving the Egress Industries’ phone number. When the three started talking, Egress immediately knew about it, and began texting their phones and the phones of some of their acquaintances - numbers they never should have had access to! Egress even started to text Kyle's co-worker, and may have possibly made an in-person visit to Kyle's wife. As the story unfolds, it became clear that just by the simple fact that Kyle and Steve were speaking with me about them, I may now be on the radar of the mysterious Egress Industries!

In episode 525: Sasquatch Harasses Smoky Mountain Property we are joined by Carey to talk about how she had so much bigfoot activity on her East Tennessee property that she and her husband had to sell it and move 10 hours away. Seven years ago they moved from Virginia to Tennessee with the idea that they were going to settle in there for the rest of their lives. In episode 524: Bigfoot and Dogman Nephilim DNA we are joined by Scott Carpenter. I was in a local pizzeria called Legends and Lore Pizzaria and in talking to the owner he informed me that Scott Carpenter, the author of The Nephilim Among Us, lives in the same town my studio is located in. So we reached out to Scott and brought him to the studio for a fantastic conversation. Scott was someone that laughed at people who believe bigfoot existed and probably thought someone should be institutionalized when claiming they have seen one. All that stopped one day while fishing and encountering a bigfoot himself. Once that happened he did a 360 and started to research everything he could about them. He would go out in the woods with cameras strapped to his body to catch as many video hours as possible to increase his chance of catching something on film. The more he researched and the more he went out, the more he learned bigfoot was not the only creature that roams these East Tennessee hills. He's had dogman encounters, little people encounters, and portal sightings which all lead him to believe there is more to these cryptids than just being hairy creatures living in the forest.

On Episode 194: The Incident At Devils Den, we are bringing on Terry Lovelace, the author of “Incident At Devils Den.” Terry is a professional in every sense of the word. He’s served in the military, has a bachelor's degree in Psychology (cum laude), served as a felony prosecutor, and served as Assistant Attorney General for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa. Yet, with all these accolades, he is coming forward to share his incredible abduction story: Terry and a friend were taken by a craft that came for them while they were out camping. That is where most abduction stories may end, but Terry's story just begins at the incident at Devils Den. 

BIO: Terry Lovelace served on active duty in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1979. Trained as a medic and EMT, the bulk of his enlistment was spent as a first responder at the Emergency Room of Whiteman Air Force Base Hospital. After military service, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, cum laude, from Park University. He earned a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan and was admitted to the bar the same year. In addition to serving as a felony prosecutor, he was keenly interested in healthcare law. He’s a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was certified as a healthcare risk manager. While an Assistant Attorney General for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he served as General Counsel for LBJ Tropical Medical Center. He finished his legal career as State’s Attorney for Vermont’s Board of Medical Practice in 2012 and lives in Dallas with his wife of 45 years.

In Episode 521: Demonic Influences Misdiagnosed we are joined by Kelsey. She has had some wild things happen regarding witches, demons, and things she just can't explain, such as a car being thrown at her and her husband that narrowly missed them. She was in a mental hospital off and on for seven years after being misdiagnosed and through that process, she was opened up to a lot of supernatural activity. With her husband's encouragement, she comes on the show to share her story in hopes to help others be more confident in themselves if they find they're in similar situations.

In Episode 520: Secret Megalithic New England we are talking with Mark Steeves from My Family Thinks I'm Crazy podcast! Mark listens to the show and when he heard me putting out episodes with Derek Olson from Megalithic Marvels and the Appalachian Intelligence boys he had to let me know what he was involved in. Mark recently started to discover an ancient past up in New England that not many people are talking about. In episode 519: Night Of The Skinwalker we are joined by Asher. He was referred to the show by Nick from "Tales From The Grid Square" as Asher had one of the most terrifying stories Nick had ever received for his Instagram page. Asher was a soldier in the military and he and his friends went out to the woods for a night of relaxing next to a bonfire. That night of relaxation changed as they all started to feel a sense of unease and dread. As the night unfolded they heard multiple beasts taunting them from the shadows, at least one skinwalker appearing and his friend during the chaos becoming seemingly possessed. As they were trying to handle their friend in his possession they ran for the trucks to try to escape. As a chase ensued and their friend still fighting a possession, another friend who was a practicing pagan might have been responsible for a white wolf appearing during the chase which is a form the goddess Hecate appears in. The night ends with them going to a witch they knew of to see if she could rid the demon from their friend. This dramatic night has left a mark on each of the men involved and Asher comes today to share it all.

In Episode 517: Police Officers On Duty Encounters, we are joined by Tom. He is a retired police officer who has had some extraordinary experiences while on duty. Tom recalls a time when he had to take a woman to the hospital and while she was there, it became very apparent that she was possessed by a least one demon. Once during a high-speed chase, he was saved from dying by an angel. Tom later transferred to Alaska where he heard from locals all about the sasquatch creature that roamed through the towns.

Martin and his hunting partner, who was also a police officer, went on a weekend hunting trip that was supposed to be fun and relaxing. After spending some time in the LBL on their hunts and as nightfall approached, things turn to anything but relaxing. Martin recalls being stalked on his way back to camp where his partner was waiting for him. Then that night through a series of dramatic events, Martin and his partner came to realize that they were being hunted by three upright-walking dogmen. As one dogman came walking into their camp to show itself to them, there were two taunting them from the shadows. They fired upon the creatures and ran for the truck where they encounter more unexpected beasts. Martin and his partner escaped with their lives that night but one hunter not far from their camp wasn't so lucky. After this experience, Martin spent the next 20+ years of his law enforcement career quietly investigating these encounters people were having in the LBL. He's connected a lot of dots and wants to share what he's learned with everyone today in this two-part Overtime episode!

In Episode 512: we are joined by James, who moved to Hollywood recently to help his career in the film industry after previously working out of Atlanta. One night, James and his friend went out to a bar where they met a guy who wanted to take them to another place to drink. Once they arrived at the new location, James' friend was so weirded out by the people he saw that he bailed and left James alone with his new acquaintance, who talked James into going to yet another party out in the desert, in a place called Joshua Tree, outside of Los Angeles. James wound up spending over 24 hours at that location, and he witnessed so many out-of-this-world things. There were vampires, cloaked figures around pentagrams, flying people, and portals opening up - and it all seemed to be focused around the guest of honor, James himself. As the danger rose, James found himself running for his life through the desert to escape these people who seemed to be grooming him as a sacrifice that night. This is one of the wildest stories we have ever had on The Confessionals, and James tells a riveting story, which could be chalked up to a tall tale by many - but James comes with the receipts that point to this event being very real.
