The Viva Verdi! soundtrack by Nicholas Pike bridges past and present — a musical homage to the golden age of Italian opera, and to the compassion that inspired Verdi’s legendary Casa Verdi, a home built for celebrated opera singers and musicians living out their ‘third act.’

His extraordinary cake artistry has been featured on television programs like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Tamron Hall Show, and the Food Network. He was also a winner on the Disney+ food art competition show FOODTASTIC.

His clients include celebrities, professional athletes, and social media influencers such as Tamron Hall (Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host), Anthony Mendez (Emmy-nominated narrator & actor), CeeLo Green (Grammy Award-winning artist), Mike Hilton, cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals, and Kemba Walker, NBA All-Star & coach.

His cake journey began in his childhood home, where he learned from his mother’s baking and decorating business. By age 15, he was already designing cakes for community members and delivering them across the U.S. and abroad. 

In 2018, he launched Flour House Cakes & Co., marrying craftsmanship with elevated design. With a focus on wedding and sculpted cakes, the company uses locally sourced ingredients and pushes artistic innovation.

Shelita is an international pop artist whose journey blends resilience, reinvention, and music that elevates our collective consciousness.

She has been featured in NPR, Forbes, and Rolling Stone. 

Her songs have reached millions of streams worldwide, she’s charted on Billboard, and her music has connected with audiences from all over the world.

Her EP Special reached #10 on Billboard and #3 on iTunes, and her single "Penetrate" climbed to #14 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart.

Shelita won a prestigious Hollywood Music In Media Award, appearing alongside industry legends like Quincy Jones and Dianne Warren. She has been named an "Artist to Watch" by NPR Music and was featured as a spotlight artist at SXSW.  She has performed over 150 shows across Europe, Asia, and Africa, making her a true "musical citizen of the world.”

Shelita’s path was profoundly altered by a skydiving accident in Seychelles that left her facing years of recovery, isolation, and multiple surgeries. In the depths of uncertainty, she turned to two lifelines: freediving and music. 

The ocean gave her freedom, and music reminded her that vibration heals. Out of this union came not only recovery but an entirely new chapter in her artistry, one rooted in resilience, transformation, and depth.

Shelita’s story is not only one of survival. It is a living example of how art and the human spirit can rise, reinvent, and inspire.

David Leaf is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. 

He is also a professor at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in Los Angeles, where, since 2010, he has been teaching courses in rock documentary, songwriting, and the Beatles.

He published the seminal work The Beach Boys and the California Myth in 1978, which was recently updated and reissued as God Only Knows: The Story of Brian Wilson, the Beach Boys and the California Myth. 

Through the writing of the biography, David developed a deep friendship with Brian Wilson.

Smile - The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Brian Wilson is the story of Brian Wilson's legendary SMiLE album.

The story of SMiLE is a story unlike any other, perfect for music that was - and still is revolutionary.

This is the first book to tell the full story of Brian Wilson and SMiLE, including the details of the original SMiLE recording sessions, their increasingly legendary status, and the final release of the album, as well as the accompanying concerts, film, and its afterlife.

With over two dozen new interviews and generous excerpts from his extensive 2004 interviews with Brian Wilson, this book recounts the story of SMiLE through the perspectives of those who were present in 1966 and those involved in its 2004 revival, including all members of Brian Wilson’s band.

Dorian Harewood has appeared in over 100 film and television productions. He’s known for roles in The Jesse Owens Story, 7th Heaven, Roots: The Next Generations, and Full Metal Jacket.

Harewood has recorded two solo albums: “Love Will Stop Calling” (1988) and “Have A Little” (2001). He’s toured with The Four Tops and Gladys Knight.

His Broadway return in The Notebook earned him a 2024 Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Older Noah.

THE JEREMIAH SHOW - Girl Named Tom RETURN TO THE WILD Summer Tour 2025

From a small town, touring in a minivan to sold-out arenas, Girl Named Tom’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric! 

America’s favorite siblings, Bekah, Caleb, and Joshua, grew up making music together, but they officially formed their band in 2019. 

They hit the road with a self-funded tour and their debut EP, Another World. Their tight harmonies and heartfelt songwriting captivated their audiences, from the East Coast to the West Coast, earning them a place in history as the first group to win The Voice in 2021.

Since then, they have sold over 100,000 tickets across 40 states, headlined nationwide tours, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and the Indianapolis 500, and appeared on The Ellen Show. 

They’ve shared the stage with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, and Pentatonix. 

Their signature sound remains unmistakably their own—fusing folk, pop, and sibling magic to create music that shakes the feet and moves the soul.  They have released three new singles this year: Waters, Locked In Your Love, and their most recent, Lucky One.

My special guest today is Artist-Architect Jessica Elizabeth Davenport, Founder & Creative Director of Terminal 9 and the visionary creator of the music project Strictly Elizabeth.

Jessica’s practice resides at the intersection of genres and mediums, blending punk and pop, experimental film and architectural imagination, and autobiographical depth with mythic scale.

Building Worlds at the Intersection of Music, Film & Architecture

Strictly Elizabeth is the multidisciplinary world of Jessica Elizabeth

Davenport.

Terminal 9, a sonic-visual universe that merges music, memory, and design into emotionally charged acts of transformation.

Rooted in personal reinvention, Jessica’s work is shaped by profound contrasts: she was born into a cult, raised by working-class immigrants, and tragically widowed at the age of 35. 

These collisions of identity, grief, place, and purpose have formed the emotional core of her work. After relocating to California, she found a creative renaissance in the West Coast's light, landscape, and psychic space—an influence that permeates the poetic futurism of Terminal 9.

The full 3-volume Terminal soundtrack is out for digital streaming on August 21st.  Every Thursday leading up to the full album release, a single will be released, introducing a different incarnation of Strictly Elizabeth. 

This Thursday, June 19th, you’ll be introduced to the Rap Crew and the song “Princess Palace”.

And last but not least, a very happy birthday to Larry Dvoskin on June 22!

Veteran songwriter and legendary producer Larry Dvoskin released a new single titled THIS NEW AGE, a song originally written 40 years ago that resonates now more deeply than ever.
More philosophical than preachy, the track explores a question that still defines our critical moment facing mankind: 

Will humanity awaken in time to change course? 

Or will we destroy ourselves? 

Larry Dvoskin, Chad, and Sean Bierman join the show.

Chad and Sean are identical twin brothers, and along with bandmate Nonso Ikeji, make up the indie rock band Familiar Faces.

Recently familiar Faces collaborated with legendary songwriter Larry Dvoskin, who has written for artists such as David Bowie, Santana, Bon Jovi, Bad Company, Robert Plant, Sammy Hagar, and Beach Boy Al Jardine.

They are here to celebrate the release and premiere of Larry’s latest single, This New Age: A Song 40 Years in the Making.
