Fulham prove to be accommodating hosts yet again as they invite Bournemouth in for tea, biscuits and three goals at the Cottage. Arsenal were also good guests as they brought Crystal Palace a couple of penalties at Selhurst Park, with Chris Smalling also proving an excellent host at Everton, despite their overall all loss at a game of Monopoly (football, you see).

We’re also lucky enough to meet the great Bryan Klug, witness a truly special Panenka penalty and, of course, welcome a certain balding smoothy back into the game.

Professor Chris Brady is the Professor of Management Studies and the Director of the Centre for Sports Business at Salford Business School. Prior to that he was Deputy Dean at Cass Business School in the City of London, and is considered a world expert in the art of management and leadership. Throughout his career, Chris has authored many books on a wide range of different subjects and is a close collaborator with a number of top flight football managers, but most recently co-authored Quiet Leadership with Carlo Ancelotti, a hugely interesting, first-hand, insight into Ancelotti's success in the game as a manager at the top level.

A trio of returns to the Ramble headlines for Daniel Sturridge, Tony Blair and Pete’s former pop-punk outfit One Eyed Willy this week, surprising us as much as anyone else. Michael Owen crashed on to the scene in May 1997 in a Premier League game for Liverpool against Wimbledon, and marked it with a goal. Obviously. From then on his career was a whirlwind that involved setting international tournaments alight, a move abroad to the biggest club in the world, injuries, and goals. Lots and lots of goals.

Marcus caught up with Michael for this latest edition of Ramble Meets... to discuss his career, what it takes to get to the very top, a certain night in St Etienne in the summer of 1998, and how he views his time at Real Madrid.

Here we go again! The Ramble's back for your aural delectation! To kick us off this week, Manchester United slip up on the south coast much to Brighton's delight, and Chelsea squeak past a profligate Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

In a football career spanning 19 years and counting, Matt Taylor has just about seen it all. From breaking into Luton Town's first team as a 17 year old, to achieving promotion to the Premier League twice with Portsmouth and West Ham, he is now a player/coach at Swindon Town.
