This is Prime Cuts! The best of The Colin Cowherd Podcast. First, Colin explains why Aaron Rodgers' treatment of rookie wide receivers is so predictable, if the Cowboys are toast with Dak Prescott out a reported 7 weeks, and if Russell Wilson should shoulder the blame for the Broncos dreadful late game clock management in his Seattle return.
Then, Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow discusses the lingering effects of a physical Week 1 game against the Steelers, if a lack of reps following his appendectomy affected his performance, how he’s able to shake off interceptions so easily, what it’s like facing the elite pass rushers in AFC North on a weekly basis, if he wants to take preseason reps next year, how he processed the Super Bowl loss to the Rams, where he’s improved most from his rookie year, how much influence he had in the Bengals picking his LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase, why Cincinnati has been the perfect fit, why he’s a cat guy and why he’s embraced his trademark game day swag.
Then, former Bears and Dolphins HC and FOX NFL analyst Dave Wannstedt on NFL Week 1, including Justin Fields’ performance in a win over the Niners, if the Patriots unimpressive loss to the Dolphins is the first sign New England is on the downslide, if Aaron Rodgers can get on the same page with his young wide receivers, and if the Cowboys need to sign another QB with Dak out for almost two months.
Then the Action Network's Chad Millman tells Colin if his NFL Week 2 picks are "sharp" or "square" for Patriots/Steelers, Bucs/Saints, Commanders/Lions, Jets/Browns, and Bengals/Cowboys.
