Today on the podcast is your 2023 NCAA Women's Champion, Maia Ramsden!

Maia runs for Harvard University where she has contributed to the storied program over the past few years. She grew up in New-Zealand where she was a multi-time national champion. On June 10, Maia won the 1500m at NCAAs in stunning fashion running a PB of 4:08.60 with a final 400m of 63.27. For many, this was a surprise, but for those who know Maia it was the culmination of years of hard work.

In addition to her success this past spring, Maia has had a storied career on the grass as well placing 11th at the National Meet last Fall and winning the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship Meet.

Today's conversation of the podcast is a very fun one! Maia and I have a fun free-flowing conversation about all things her career and the different elements that have gone into it. This conversation was both light-hearted and inspiring which are always the conversations I walk away feeling the best about. So I hope you take the time to listen and enjoy it as much as we did having it!

Fresh off of making history, Ky Robinson returns to the podcast!

Ky made history in Austin Texas this past June by winning the dirty double in dominate fashion. With a 54 second last lap, Ky won the 10k with teammate and former podcast guest Charles Hicks right behind in second. Just two days later, Ky ran it back (no pun-intended) and won the 5k with a 55 second last lap cementing himself in history as one of the few to win the double.

For those who aren't familiar with Ky, he is an accomplished athlete with numerous achievements in track and field. He is a multi-time All-American and has competed in the World Championships for both track and field and cross country. Ky holds multiple records at Stanford, including the steeplechase and indoor 3,000 and 5,000. He is also the record-holder for the under-20 steeplechase in Australia and Oceania. Ky has been part of championship-winning teams, such as the West Region XC team and Pac-12 XC team. In addition to his athletic success, Ky has received academic honors and awards for his outstanding performance both on and off the track.

Today's conversation is one of my favorite from the past few months. Ky breaks down his season in full and his incredible performances at NCAAs. We dive into his training, mindset, and more. We also discuss if he'll return to Palo Alto this Fall, his ambitions the rest of the season, and wearing long socks in Austin heat.

Back like they never left, the villains return to the podcast...

After a dominant month of June, where records were broken, and championships were won, all three of us knew we had to run it back on the podcast.

In summary, since we last spoke, Simeon won the Brooks PR 2-Mile, ran a 3:37 1500m, qualifying him for his first US Championship, and won the Nike Outdoor Nationals Mile. Connor, on the other hand, placed second in the Brooks PR 2-Mile, pushing Simeon to the line running 8:34, placed fourth in the Nike Outdoor National Mile, and ran another 5k.

Connor plans on taking another stab at the 5k in Europe soon and Simeon will take on the best of the best in the US next week in Eugene, Oregon, for the USATF Champs.

In today's conversation, Connor and Simeon recap a wild last month of racing and everything in-between. They share exclusive stories, insights, and of course, plenty of banter. Today's episode is much like their past month of racing: one for the history books.

Today on the podcast is the one and only Parker Valby!

Parker Valby is an exceptional athlete who has made a lasting impact in both track and field and cross country. With a list of accolades that include being a USTFCCCA All-American, USTFCCCA South Regional Runner of the Year, and First Team All-SEC, Parker's talent, and dedication are undeniable. Her remarkable performances, from setting school records to winning an NCAA title, have solidified her as one of the greats. In cross country, she has demonstrated her strength and endurance, securing victories, earning All-American status, and placing second at the 2022 National Meet. Parker's unwavering commitment to excellence, both on the field and in the classroom, has been recognized through her inclusion in academic honor rolls and All-Academic teams.

Most recently, in Austin, Texas, at the 2023 NCAA Track and Field Championships, Parker won the Women's 5k in dominant fashion running 15:30.57 in brutal conditions.

In this conversation, Parker recaps her last year and all the performances, the highs and lows, and more. While hearing about Parker's journey in sport is inspiring, and I guarantee you'll find value from hearing about her perseverance and dedication, the highlight of this conversation was Parker and I having the most random discussion about other things that is highly entertaining. From being scammed $20k to being chased by wild boar on easy runs, and everything in-between. Today's conversation with Roisin Willis is one of the most important and impactful conversations I've ever released.

Normally I write fancy bio's about the guest and their accomplishments. Today I just want to say take the time to listen to this conversation and hear Roisin's story. It is impactful beyond words, and I know you will be impacted by it. I'm still shocked at how wise, eloquent, and brave Roisin is for only being eighteen years old. Her courage to speak up and share her story is nothing short of inspiring.

Lastly, please share this episode with your inner circle of friends, teammates, and family. I know so many people will be brought so much comfort through Roisin's story. Please do us a favor and share it with someone who you know.

Today I have the privilege of speaking with Abby Nichols!

I had the great honor of doing a live podcast with Abby this past month in St. Louis the evening before she ran 4:26.08 in the mile. From the moment I met her, I knew Abby was genuinely an amazing human being. I did her cooldown with her after she ran that race, as we dove into the depths of philosophy, trust, and other subjects that I normally discuss on the podcast. At that point, I knew I had to get Abby on for a proper long-form conversation and display her depth and wisdom.

For those unfamiliar with Abby, she is a standout distance runner with an impressive track record (no pun intended). She was a State Champion in both track and cross country during her high school years in Kettering, Ohio. At Ohio State University and later the University of Colorado, she showcased her talent, earning multiple accolades, such as the Big 10 Champion in the 5,000 meters and three-time Pac 12 Champion. Abby's success continued as she joined HOKA NAZ Elite last summer, achieving remarkable performances both on the track and grass, setting personal bests, team records, and securing top finishes at national championships. Her dedication and passion for running has made her a rising star in the world of distance running.

In this conversation, you'll hear about Abby's journey in the sport, the different adversity she's faced throughout her career, handling failures, why having a short-term memory in sport is so important, separating your identity from your sport, and much more. This conversation was wide-ranging and packed with depth. I know you'll find great value in Abby's story and the wisdom she shares.

You can listen wherever you find your podcasts by searching, "The Running Effect Podcast." I would also appreciate it if you share it with your friend who you think will benefit from it.

What does it take to be a good coach? What does it take to lead others to success? We explore these questions and many more with the one and only Coach Ricardo Santos, coach of the Stanford cross country and track teams.

Coach Ricardo Santos is an accomplished distance coach at Stanford University, where he has been the primary men's distance coach since August 2019. He has had remarkable success, including coaching Charles Hicks to become the first Stanford runner, male or female, to win an NCAA individual cross-country title in 2022. Under Santos' guidance, the Stanford men's cross-country teams have achieved 13 top-10 finishes in NCAA championships and won numerous regional and conference championships. His coaching prowess extends to track events as well, with his athletes setting records and earning international recognition. Santos brings a wealth of experience to his coaching role, having previously coached at the Boston Athletic Association and Iona College.

This conversation encapsulates the subjects of what it takes to coach a successful team. We discuss culture, instilling patience, a process mindset, and what makes a good leader. We also go through his recent success with athletes Charles Hicks (who won the 2022 NCAA XC title) and Ky Robinson (who won the 2023 5k/10k Outdoor titles).

It was an absolute pleasure having a conversation with Coach Santos and dissecting his extremely successful career so far! I know you'll find value from this conversation with one of the best coaches in the world.

There's a saying, "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way." This perfectly describes Coach Santos, and I know you will learn from him in this conversation.

THE KING OF IOWA RETURNS TO THE PODCAST.

On June 1, 2023, at the Hoka Festival of Miles, Jackson Heidesch became the 20th-ever prep boy to break four minutes in the mile. Jackson ran 3:59.08 to become the 10th fastest boy in history at the distance. A feat that was thought to be "physically impossible" less than a century ago, Jackson went and did the impossible, yet this wasn't unimaginable to those who know Jackson and have seen his years of hard work and dedication leading up to this accomplishment.

I had the privilege of spending most of the day with Jackson leading into his race. From hanging out at breakfast to going to the world-famous Arch, I saw Jackson prepare and get ready to attack history. Because of that, today's conversation is more special than most of mine due to being able to go through a plethora of topics surrounding the race and preparing for it.

In today's conversation, you will hear all about the race, how Jackson prepared for it, what he's looking to do next, and hilarious stories from the day leading into the race that are one of a kind.

I hope you all take some time to listen to this inspirational and, at times, hilarious discussion with my friend and the King of Iowa, Jackson Heidesch.

Episode 4 of The Road To Hayward is with the one and only Alexander Chukwukelu!

Alex is the #1 high school hurdler in the 110m hurdles so far this year. He is committed to run for the University of Kentucky next year. Alex has set historic marks in his events, running personal bests of 12.98 (110mH), 10.86 (100m), and 21.45 (200m). He recently won his first state title in his home state of Texas and has also won a National Title at Nike Indoor Nationals in the 60mH.

I loved this conversation with Alex. He is full of energy and vibrance, which made this conversation extra-impactful. Like, he has the most fun energy out of anyone I've ever talked to on the podcast; it's contagious.

Through hearing about Alex's hard work, dedication, and resilience, and the stories around these traits, I'm confident you'll walk away more motivated to become a better athlete and version of yourself.

You can all watch Alex chase after a national title at Nike Outdoor Nationals this year. Listen to today's podcast to hear how he's preparing for history, both mentally and physically.

Evan won a Silver Medal in the steeplechase at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, won Bronze at the 2017 World Championships in London; he has the American Record in the 3,000m Steeplechase with a time of 8:00.45, and get this, he holds the top 9 spots on the U.S. Top 10 All-Time 3000m Steeple list.

In high school, he won everything there was to win in Illinois high school competition, claiming titles in XC, 1600m, and 3200m, as well as anchoring the State Record 4x800m. He then went to the University of Wisconsin for one year before deciding to move to Portland to go all-in on his running career, moving with Coach Jerry Schumacher and being one of the original members of the now Bowerman Track Club.

In today's conversation, Evan goes through his upbringing in the sport from winning a Mustang by breaking five minutes in the mile to setting state records along the way. He then discusses his professional career and all the different elements, the highs, and the lows, that have shaped who he is today. We also touch on his past year of being a dad, the craziest BTC workouts he's witnessed, and wether or not he thinks he has the best hair in Track & Field.

I loved this conversation and was thrilled to have made it happen. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did having it.

Today's conversation will challenge you. It will stretch you to think on deep topics that ultimately impact the quality and impact of your pursuit within sport and life. While it may be deeper and more philosophical than most of my podcasts, you'll walk away from this conversation thinking about how you view success specifically as it pertains to running completely different.

My close friend and mentor Alex Ostberg is always full of deep insights that contain invaluable wisdom. So it's always a treat whenever I can convince him to come on the podcast.

For those unfamiliar with Alex, he is an eight-time NCAA All-American. He competed at Stanford University for four years before transferring to the University of North Carolina to get his master's degree. Alex holds PRs of 3:58 in the Mile, 7:49 in the 3k, 13:18 in the 5k, and 28:49 in the 10k. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in human biology, a minor in psychology, and a master's in public health.

Alex is an incredibly perspicacious and ebullient speaker who has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and depth. In this conversation, Alex shares his wisdom on why most champions are broken, how to improve your luck, the "stepping-up" fallacy, why "How you do one thing is how you do everything" is a myth, how success is largely the failures you avoid, and much more. I always walk away from my conversations with Alex enlightened and a better version of myself. I'm so confident you'll say the same after listening.

Today on "The Road To Hayward" are Lex and Leo Young and their teammate and friend Brayden Seymour.

For those unfamiliar with these three, Lex and Leo Young are the fastest high school twins in the world. Over the past four years of high school, they have broken national records, won championships, and forever cemented their legacy as some of the greatest high school runners ever. Their teammate Brayden Seymour has witnessed their greatness unfold and, through training with them, has become a national-class runner, claiming some All-American titles and making a name for himself in this sport. Lex and Leo are committed to run for Stanford University next year, and Brayden is committed to run for Furman University.

Lex and Leo have been on the podcast many times, so we thought it would be fun to change things up a bit and include Brayden, who is a stud himself and has a unique inside look at the success of Lex and Leo. In today's episode, we chronicle their friendship, recent training and racing, beef within the sport, how they're preparing for Nike Outdoor Nationals, and many hilarious topics that left us four laughing.

If you want to hear an inspiring, unique, and fun discussion with three of the top high school runners, this conversation is for you.

+ Lex speaks extensively about his preparation leading into a 5k HS National Record attempt which he ended up successfully doing, running 13:34.96. It is very cool to listen back and hear him call his shot and deliver on it.

Today on the podcast, I have the privilege of speaking with artist and accomplished runner Zach Litoff!

Zach is the man behind the cover art for The Running Effect and has worked with clients such as Nike and New Balance. He started Litoff Studio's where he carries his passion for the intersection of art and running, leading the charge in this arena. When he's not cooking up some incredible piece of art, you can find Zach cruising at a nice clip running 75-mile weeks in the Bay Area.

Zach ran for Santa Clara University, where he was the first-ever athlete from that school to make the NCAA Track & Field Outdoor Championships. From a kid who didn't break 16 minutes in the 5k in high school, Zach's journey has been unorthodox and special. He uses his story, passion for the sport, and incredible art to inspire others.

I loved this conversation and all the different topics discussed. We go through Zach's careers in art and running and all the fun things he's up to! If you want a fun, light-hearted, and inspiring conversation, this podcast is for you!

Today on the podcast series "The Road To Hayward" is Irene Riggs and Sophia Kennedy, friends and future teammates at Stanford University this fall!

Irene Riggs and the word "history" belong in the same sentence. Over the past year, Irene has made history in her home state of West Virginia and on the National Stage. Irene became the first athlete from West Virginia ever to win a national cross country title, and she did so in remarkable fashion, overcoming cold, windy conditions at NXN to produce the No. 2 all-time mark of 16:40.9 at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon. She also ran the second-fastest high school girls' 5K cross country race in history with her 16:02.1 effort at the Nike Southeast Regional. Irene also made her first U.S. National Team by winning the 2023 USATF U20 XC title. This track season, Irene ran 9:45.97 in the 3200m at the Spire Scholastic Showcase Meet, became the Nike Indoor National Champion in the Mile, winning in 4:38.23, and won the Arcadia Invitational 3200m in a meet record time of 9:52.66.

Irene is also a fantastic selfless individual off the grass and track. She is the Vice President of the student body at her school, a student council representative at Morgantown, and has spent hours doing community service. Through these accomplishments, Irene became the 2022-2023 Gatordate National Girls Cross-Country Player of The Year.

Sophia Kennedy has slowly cemented herself as one of the greatest runners in Indiana state history. Last fall, Sophia placed seventh at the Nike Cross Nationals, a week after taking second at the Champs Sports Midwest Region Championships. Sophia is a two-time qualifier for the Eastbay National Cross Country Championships, placing seventh in 2021. Sophia, the daughter of U.S. distance great Bob Kennedy, was fifth in the two-mile at the 2021 Brooks PR Invitational and eighth in 2022. Running for Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, Sophia was second in the 3,200 at the 2022 Indiana state track finals and third in the state in cross country this fall. This indoor season, Sophia placed fourth in the Mile at Nike Indoor Nationals, running 4:45.60. She also ran an outdoor mile in 4:49 and a 3200 in 10:07, where she split 5:08 and 4:59.

Others may know Sophia's dad, Bob Kennedy, a two-time Olympian who set American Records and won four NCAA titles while at Indiana University.

In today's episode, we go through how they met each other, the decision to go to Stanford, exclusive insights and stories from NXN and NIN, how their outdoor season is going, how they're preparing for Nike Outdoor Nationals, and top things off with some listener questions!

Every few months, I have a conversation that blows me away; today is one of those conversations. From the minute Andy hopped on the call, I knew we were in for a good one.

Today on the podcast, I have the great privilege of speaking with the one and only Andrew Wheating. Andy is currently the Operations and Content Manager at the On Athletics Club. But long before Andy was working for On to push forward the sport, he was running world-class times and making history on the track. From 2008 to 2012, he won three NCAA titles, made two Olympic teams and a World Championship team, and ran personal bests of 1:44.56 for 800, 3:30.90 for 1500, and 3:51.74 for the mile.

I ask my guests before every conversation, "What will make this a home-run for you?" and Andy replied something to the extent of "I'm an open book so don't back from asking anything you're curious about." Well, I took that to heart and asked Andy many deep questions surrounding his career and life. This made for a raw and impactful conversation that blew my expectations out of the water. Andy's ability to share stories in an engaging and reflective way I've rarely seen replictaed.

So I hope you all enjoy today's conversation as much as I did having it.

Andy's ability to share stories in an engaging and reflective way I've rarely seen replictaed.

So I hope you all enjoy today's conversation as much as I did having it.

The most listened-to man in the history of The Running Effect makes his return to the podcast. His name is Yaseen Abdalla.

For those who aren't familiar with Yaseen, he went from a 24:42 5k in high school to NCAA Champion at the University of Texas. His story is nothing short of inspiring and impactful. Yaseen is a man who works harder than almost everyone I know and has a smile on his face while doing it. Yaseen has become one of the top runners in the NCAA due to this work-ethic and unbreakable belief in himself that he can and will prevail.

In his second appearance on the podcast, he brings many nuggets of wisdom. I mean, the man does not miss. Every time I speak with Yaseen, he's always bringing the fire. In this episode, he shares his thoughts on quick fixes, why the long road is always better, his performance at SECs, how to rebound from disappointing performances, and he closes out the episode by directly sharing a message with you all.

Someone once DMd and said they listen to the Yaseen podcast 3-4 times a week, so I hope round two is worthy of that kind of attention. So tap in and enjoy the Yaseen Abdalla Special.

I have the great privilege of welcoming Hobbs Kessler to the podcast today.

Hobbs competes professionally for Adidas, having turned professional directly after high school. He holds the North American U20 record in the 1500 meters, having run 3:34.36 at the Portland Track Festival in May 2021. He also holds the American high school record for the indoor mile, with a time of 3:57.66 set in February 2021. He was named the 2021 Gatorade National Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Hobbs is also an outstanding rock climber. Growing up, he represented the United States many times growing up.

In today's episode of the podcast, Hobbs takes us through his incredible story and rise to the top of distance running. I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and hearing more in-depth about the races that have shaped his career. Going through Hobb's incredble story and lessons he's learned along the way was incredibly enjoyable and inspiring.

Back like she never left, Sadie Engelhardt returns to the podcast!

For those who aren't familiar with Sadie, just as a Freshman last year, Sadie ran 4:35.16 in the mile (a U16 World Record), won Nike Outdoor Nationals, broke the state record in the 1500 by clocking a 4:11.79 at the Portland Track Festival and this past cross-country season won a state championship and ran a record-breaking time of 15:42 in the 3-mile. So far this season, Sadie became a national champion in the Mile indoors, won the West Coast Relays in a time of 2:06.71, won the Arcadia Invite Mile in a time of 4:36, and ran a seven-second meet record (yes, you read that right) at Mt. Sac.

In today's episode, we discuss many topics including all of her races this season thus far, her mindset shifts on training and racing over the past year, the most impressive workouts she's done this season, what her favorite cooking utensil is, and much more! I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation with Sadie. Many fun things discussed that will leave a smile on your face, but also tons of insights and wisdom from Sadie discussing her recent training, racing, and mindset.

The one and only Cole Sprout returns to the podcast. Cole is a junior at Stanford University, where he has slowly cemented himself as one of the top runners in the NCAA. This past indoor season, Cole ran 3:56 in the Mile, 7:43 in the 3k, and 13:24 in the 5k. Just a few weeks ago, Cole ran 28:30 in the 10k to open up his outdoor campaign. Cole is also a multi-time All-American both on the track and the grass.

Cole and I get incredibly deep in this episode and discuss a plethora of topics surrounding philosophy that relate to running such as trusting in God's plan, chasing quick fixes, is there a destination?, enjoying the ordinary moment, finding meaning in suffering, and more. We also go through Cole's recent racing and ambitions for the rest of the season!

I hope you will all tune into this episode as I know it will positively impact you, and certainly make you think deeper on questions surrounding your life and sport. I know you'll walk away from today's conversation a better version of yourself, I can certainly say that was the case for me.

So I hope you all enjoy today's podcast and find value from the subjects discussed! Feel free to drop a comment with your thoughts (:

I am 100% confident that you'll learn new things about mental performance by listening to this episode and be able to implement easy practices into your daily routine that will help you become a better runner and version of yourself.

On the final day of April 2023, Rocky ran 3:59.56 to win the mile against collegiate athletes at the Virginia High-Performance Meet. Hansen becomes the first North Carolina prep to accomplish the feat. Breaking records and making history, Hansen joins an exclusive group of only 18 high schoolers who have ever clocked a mile in under four minutes. Hansen's impressive feat ranks as the 15th-best time ever posted outdoors in the event. He has also run 8:34.78 for 3,200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational this season. Hansen is also a multi-time state Gatorade player of the year.

In this conversation, Rocky takes us through his historic season thus far, what it's meant to him, his ambitions for the rest of the season, how he ran a sub 4 mile, his training, committing to Wake Forest, and much more. This conversation was a ton of fun, and very insightful. I always enjoying diving deep into a big performance right after it happened, so who better to that with than the newest sub four miler! I hope you all enjoy the conversation as much as we did having it.

Today Mia Barnett joins the podcast!

Mia is a sophomore who attends and competes for The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where she has cemented herself as one of the top female distance runners in the NCAA. Prior to transferring to UCLA, Mia ran for the University of Virginia, where she was an All-American and one of the top runners in the ACC. Mia and I go from ordinary running subjects to philosophical topics making this a wide-ranging discussion that I walked away from a better version of myself. Mia is an extremely ebullient individual making this conversation very enjoyable. I can't wait to see her tear it up the rest of this NCAA season and beyond.

Back for her third appearance and straight off of a hair crisis (iykyk) is my good friend, Emily Cole!

For those who aren't familiar with Emily, she is an accomplished runner who competes for Duke University. She is also an author and positive light on social media, impacting millions of lives every single month. Behind all the accolades, is a genuinely amazing human being who I always thoroughly talking with and learning from her.

Emily is one of the top runners in the NCAA, consistently pushing forward the sport through her performances on the track. Just this past season, Emily played a key role in Duke's NCAA Championship DMR squad leading off on the 1200m leg. A few weeks prior, Emily ran a PR of 4:42.81 in the Mile in the 2023 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships Mile prelims. The very next day, in the finals, she ran 4:43.54, closing in a 2:13 last 800m! Emily's true passion lies in jumping over hurdles in the water in an event called the steeplechase. Emily won Silver in this event at the 2022 ACC Outdoor Championships, qualified for the NCAA championships, became an NCAA Second-Team All-American, AND made the freaking US National Championships with her qualifying time of 9:48.20!

Emily will look to further cement her legacy in the NCAA in her final seasons. While I may be biased knowing Emily, she is one to watch out for. Whether she has a baton in her hand or is jumping over a water pit, she is probably making history in the process.

This conversation today was ride-ranging and impactful. I picked Emily's mind on confidence, gratitude, burnout, reflection, and much more. If you're looking for inspiration and insights on how to cultivate a positive mindset, fall in love with, enjoy the journey, and more, then you won't want to miss this conversation with Emily.

With her impressive achievements in running, social media, and writing, as well as her infectious positivity and genuine personality, Emily is sure to leave you feeling uplifted and motivated to take on whatever challenges come your way. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn from one of the most inspiring voices on social media today!

Connor Burns ran 3:58.83 in the mile last June, becoming the first high schooler from Missouri to break the four-minute barrier. He is also a reigning national champion in the 3200m and became the fifth-ever high schooler to break four minutes in the mile indoors by running 3:59.11. Most recently, Connor became a national champion indoors in the 2-mile by running 8:43.24. Connor has committed to run for The University of Oregon this fall.

This season Connor and Simeon are chasing history; we are here to document it in a historic and unprecedented fashion. Over the coming months, Connor and Simeon will dive deep into their outdoor campaign leading into big invitationals, state championships, national record attempts, and national meets. We will go into their training, racing, mindset, and answer your questions along the way!

If you would have listened to me on February 9th when I said to buy Dylan Jacobs stock, you would be thriving.

Since that appearance on the podcast, Dylan ran the #2 best time ever in NCAA history in the 3k, clocking 7:36 in the 3k at the 2023 Millrose Games. He then went on to win two SEC titles (one in the 5k, one in the DMR). He then claimed first place in the 5,000-meter at the NCAA Championships with a time of 13:37.59 - good enough to break the facility record, high-altitude collegiate record, and become the first NCAA men's 5k champion in Tenessee program history. Later in the meet, he placed 6th in the 3k claiming Tennessee's best finish in the event at nationals since 1995.

All of these accomplishments in the indoor season paved the way for Dylan to win the highly prestigious "National Athlete Of The Year" award. Dylan currently sits on the Bowerman Watch List (The Heisman Trophy for Track & Field).

In this conversation, Dylan recaps all of the above with his reflections, lessons learned, and how it's propelling him forward in this outdoor track season. This conversation is full of wisdom and insights that will inspire and motivate you to chase after your biggest goals.

I have the great privilege of speaking with Juliette Laracuente-Huebner today!

I looked up the word "Unbelievable," went to the images tab, and a picture of Juliette came up. Guys, she legitimately won the team title at the 2023 Ohio Indoor State Meet BY HERSELF. A feat so incredible and historic, that ESPN posted about it. She won four separate events clinching a title and history in the process. Juliette then went on to win a National Title at New Balance Nationals. This outdoor season she is looking to do even greater things. She is committed to compete for the University of Cincinnati this year.

In this conversation, Juliette goes through her start in the sport, this past indoor season and all the historic events that came with it, what her training looks like (my jaw dropped), her ambitions for the future, what it's like being an Aunt, and so much more!

This conversation was nothing short of inspiring. Juliette's passion for her craft shines through in this episode, and I'm confident you'll walk away from this conversation all the more motivated to chase after excellence in your own life.
