Welp, if you are easily offended by rants and sarcasm, this may not be the episode for you.  Scarlet and Blackbird go on an epic internet journey of all things FALL-O-WEEN (you read that correctly) and check out the latest and greatest in Halloween decor that is for people who cannot or will not participate in the true spirit of Halloween.  It is an irreverent barrel of laughs that the witches fall into, and they want you to join them in the downward spiral that leads only to one place - a church parking lot trunk event, the scariest of all places.  Happy Spooky Season!

We are diving deep into sorcerous devotion this week!  Blackbird and Scarlet continue their journey through the course being offered on Hekate by Jack Grayle through The Blackthorne School.  This week, the witches learn more epithets than they knew before, and learn how to prepare for magic working in the context of this series of classes.  It's a fun ride through late antiquity, and the witches are so glad you will join them!

Oh ho ho hohohohhho witches, have we got something for you in the coming weeks!  Scarlet and Blackbird are about to get schooled in all things Hekate.  Embark on this epic journey with the ladies as they dive into the excitement of a course offered by the Blackthorne School on Hekate by none other than the author of The Hekataeon, Jack Grayle.  The witches have discussed this book several times, but Scarlet signed up for the course first and wanted Blackbird's hot takes on everything she learned in the first of 13 weeks (spoiler alert - Blackbird signs up for the course immediately after recording this episode!)  Get ready for your mind to be expanded by at least 3 if not 18 times.

Witches, get ready for more baneful nightshade talk!  Can one ever get enough?  Learn all about how to spot datura in the wild, how to avoid getting poisoned, and how to work with this amazing plant magically!  Even though datura is considered a "noxious weed", witches know the truth about how useful the properties of this plant are, whether you work with the actual plant or this spirit of it.  Gather 'round for our summer plant series!
