   We got our first peak at the 2026 Chiefs on Saturday and as you might expect, it was a mixed bag.  Lots of sloppy play, one  player with a disappointing defensive performance and a couple guys on offense that turned heads.  It's a start and was nice to see football again.  One question... why are the Chiefs hyping Patrick Mahomes so much publicly?  The whole broadcast felt like an "oversell."

   After Dr. Fauci took out the trash yesterday (and wouldn't we like to know what he tossed?) he got in the car and went for a ride with his wife.  All cameras are on the Fauci's again and Mrs. Covid Jab flipped the bird at the media.  You gotta love it when the true colors shine through.

   Utah Senator Mike Lee says there is real progress on the SAVE America Act in the senate.  Ya, right.

   New polling shows that Americans of all parties are absolutely in favor of passing the SAVE America Act.  The question asked is not about providing ID, it's specific to the bill.  And everyone wants it.

   The new season of Ted Lasso is out and it begins with an episode that is an absolute banger for our fair city.  Every landmark you can think of is shown and literally, the whole theme of the episode is about living in KC.

   If we learned one thing about primary voters in Missouri and Kansas it's that they love them some government and taxes.  Holy smokes did the Missouri income tax elimination get crushed and the voters of Kansas are simply not interested in electing Supreme Court justices.  Let's just keep getting taxed and have the goverment do what it wants.  Wow.

   Almost all of the winners around our two states were the most well known candidates, we'll go over the winners and losers.  Also, I went to the polls twice as I voted on Monday and took my mom to vote Tuesday.  Two different locations had one thing in common with the poll workers.

   In sports, here comes the hype about the NBA moving to KC.  It's enough to make me want to take a nap.  A website called www.defector.com does a series of comedy articles about why your NFL team will suck in 2026 and the Chiefs story is pretty funny.  Mizzou checks in at #25 in the college football coaches poll and an 85 year old actress is breaking new ground in our Final Final.

   Pardon my enthusiasm but it was just glorious to watch Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers absolutely unload on Anthony Fauci at his team's training camp.  This is too fun.  We have it for you.

   Then, Clay Travis of Outkick challenges the WNBA champs to a basketball game against High School Boys for $10 million and then doubles down.  Travis says he wants to buy a team for Nashville and have only trans players on it naming them the Nashville Balls.  This is getting so good.

   Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt says the senate could pass a bill on college athletics this week that the SEC and Big Ten have agreed to.  The Royals trade a former all star to the Dodgers.

   For a few hours this weekend, it looked like the Chiefs had lost a pair of wide receivers they are counting on.  It still could be a problem going forward but disaster has been avoided as the players are better than first thought.

   If you missed the All Star Game on Fox, well, it wasn't about the game.  This broadcast was a fantastic TV show and celebration of American greatness.  It was truly special and we are so, so back baby.

   I'm over the disaster that was Jerome Tang coaching KSU basketball so it's time for me to apologize to KSU AD Gene Taylor who is just a terrific guy and completely respected and admired by his peers.  Taylor has been named to another high profile national position as selected by other AD's.  Yes, I had TDS.  Tang Derangement Syndrome.  I'm sorry. 

   Spain advances to the final of the World Cup and now I"m rooting for England to knock off Argentina.  The final is Sunday and then we get a very nice four year break.

  Our Final Final is a cruise filled with Americans that was turned away by Turkey and Egypt....  because it was a gay cruise.

   President Trump will address the nation Thursday night and initial reports are this will be a scathing takedown of election interference and rigging of the 2020 election.  Of course, conservative believers everywhere think this will be the game changer that puts people in prison, changes our election laws forever and leads to a GOP supermajority.  I say don't get your hopes up for any of that.  You'd better show me something first.

   US forces pounded Iran for the third day in a row, this time 5 hours of relentless bombing of "maritime assets" near the Strait of Hormuz.

   Birthright citizenship reform is being introduced in the Senate by Jim Banks and it's a pretty decent plan.

   Kansas drivers shine in the annual poll of safest in America, not so much for Missouri.

   In sports, Jac Caglianone was way too excited and amped up for the home run derby contest as his dad painted the corners and repeatedly pitched it out of the zone.  Still, Jac's bomb in the upper deck was one for the ages.   Patrick Mahomes is no longer the best quarterback in the NFL according to a poll of NFL coaches, scouts and executives.  Mizzou's HOF class is announced.  Norway's star soccer player takes home a wild beast from his time in America and our Final Final is a reboot of one of the most popular tv shows in American history.

   It's a bonus pod as the schedule is a little off this week but we've now learned that Lindsey Graham's sister Darline has been named to fill his seat until an election can be held.

   Then, the Kietzman's and their crew had a completely bizarre interaction with family members of Team Argentina at the Margaritaville Resort pool on Sunday celebrating a friend's birthday.  You have to hear how they acted, how the hotel handled it on their behalf and how much the local owners of the property and development received in tax money from all of us... BEFORE another $200 million more was handed out by all our area governments for this tourney.  It's hard to get me this fired up.  It was fun for awhile but we got fleeced.

We all woke up to stunning news Sunday with the sudden passing of long time South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.  President Trump said he had just spoken with the Senator, who had just returned from Ukraine, and that Graham sounded tired.  Washington reacted to a man that even many democrats respected and liked.

   Meanwhile, Trump issues a harrowing threat to Iran of what will transpire if Trump is assassinated.  And he's not kidding.

   Argentina needed some drama in the 112th minute of its match Saturday night against Switzerland to advance to the World Cup Final Four.

   The Royals select a right handed hitting outfielder from Louisville with the #6 pick overall in the MLB draft.  He's the third #6 overall in Royals history... the other two worked out really well.

  And Stan Weber joins us after going to Big 12 Media Days last week and our focus is the upcoming season for the Kansas Jayhawks.  This is a make or break year for 6th year coach Lance Leipold.

   As federal authorities ramp up detentions in Kansas City recently, Mayor Q decided to speak out publicly about it....in Spanish.  One thing is abundantly clear, mayor Q is wrong in multiple languages.  He's literally an Ivy League educated lawyer and does not want to follow the laws in place in America that BOTH PARTIES passed in DC.   I may get a little hot on this one.

   The World Cup has a huge referee controversy heading into the France vs Morocco match and the FBI is investigating Argentina soccer for money laundering and bank fraud in the USA.  Oh, brother.

   Missouri beer tax is the second lowest in the country and it brings up a really big question as the state tries to move to zero income tax.

   KC slugger Jac Caglianone is going to be in the HR Derby Monday night at the all star game in Philly for one very, very strong reason.  KSU and KU had media days in Dallas for the upcoming football season and had two completely different story lines.  The Big 12 has added a sponsor to the name of the football and basketball conferences.

   President Trump says he's done with the Iran ceasefire and he said it at NATO meetings in Turkey.  This is really, really gutsy as he's not really as safe there as he is at home.  For now, the ceasefire is over and Trump is done negotiating.  For now.

   In Sports, Messi now has 8 goals in this World Cup as Argentina makes a miraculous comeback against Egypt and will now play Saturday at Arrowhead.  Former KU star Darryn Peterson is killing it in NBA summer play as he's pretty healthy now.  And we've learned that in World Cup cities like KC... it's all about the singles dating scene.  You have to hear this.

   At least we don't have to knit pick reasons why Team USA fell to Belgium in the World Cup because it was all the reasons.  The United States was slow, unorganized and back on their heels.  It was ugly, ugly, ugly falling 4-1 in Seattle.  And if we're being fair, it's not likely men's soccer in this country will be elite any time soon.

   Something really bad is going on with Senator Mitch McConnell who is reportedly being kept alive by a machine at a hospital in DC.  His wife is reportedly in China.  And a GOP rep from Kentucky is blasting the Senate over the Save America Act.  And almost nobody is reporting on this.  It smells more than fishy as nobody wants to keep a loved one alive on a machine for weeks.

   The United States the most entertaining soccer game I can ever remember seeing with a 2-0 win over Bosnia Wednesday night.  They looked like the better team and played lock the better team until America's best player got a red card and the USA had to play the rest of the night shorthanded, down one player.  To say this match was dramatic and wild is an understatement.  We have all the details and explore whether we can get Flo Balogun back for the next match.

   It was just another great moment of this America 250 week.  President Trump flew on the new Air Force One to North Dakota to see the Teddy Roosevelt library and museum.  The motorcade was led by Roughriders on horseback.  God Bless America.

   More communists are winning primaries, the latest a broke 29 year old barista that got fired for bashing her employer for not supporting Palestinian terror attacks on Jews.  Wait until you hear the demographic break down of communist voters in America.

   In a comfortable conversation, the man who built a financial services company and owns a boat load of quick change oil properties around the country says he can do it all as the CEO of Kansas.  This is a fascinating race that any conservative in any state will want to keep an eye on.

   The SAVE America Act is now on everyone's mind and it's getting worse for Senate leader John Thune.  Thursday in South Dakota, Thune's home state, he hosted a ticketed event for the state's GOP Fundraising.  Conservative activist Scott Presler, the man who worked tirelessly to fix Pennsylvania for President Trump, was denied entrance.  Presler even had a ticket.  You gotta hear the lengths Thune and his cronies went to in order to keep Presler from pressing the leader about the SAVE America Act.  They didn't treat Charlie Kirk this way!

   One conservative in the House of Representatives says she has a caucus that will shut the House down for good until the senate passes SAVE America.  Let's go!

   Team USA falls in a match that didn't matter, Netherlands fans had a big day in Kansas City but don't listen to the soccer boy hype that this was the greatest sports day in KC history and gay hating Iran and Egypt play Friday night in Seattle where they are having Pride Night.  Yes, please.  Dems, pick your side.  Jew hating Muslims or gays?  You can't have both.

   I pitch a new theory for a rule in MLB for more dramatic game finishes and we ask who will be a bigger star in KC... Jac Caglianone or Carter Jensen?

   Authorities have finally found the crazy dude that shot up a bunch of cars on I-70 the first night of the World Cup in KC.  He's dead and apparantly was dead in a house they previously combed over.  But it gets worse.  It seems at least one police department wasn't interested in looking for him BEFORE the shootings as they were too busy working World Cup events.

  Senator John Thune has ordered a 19 day vacation for the US Senate, right after Trump went too see them on Capitol Hill imploring them to pass the SAVE America Act.  This is so embarrassing.

   The Netherlands fans are taking over KC Thursday and they seem nice enough.  But let's remember they are not American.... I have the deets on one reason why.

   A far left judge born in Trinidad and worked for Sonia Sotomayor is the latest to stop President Trump with a ruling.  This tiime, the court rules the government cannot use it's own data bases to verify is a person is a citizen or not and eligible to vote.  This is nuts.

   A new AI generated song and video called "Keir Starmer is a wanker" has gone viral, we'll play it for you.  Vandals at the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool are being detained.

  In sports, Lionel Messi does it again for Argentina, this player is the best of all time.   OU was picked 14th in the SEC pre season baseball poll and wins the national title.  The SEC is officially now a baseball conference, not football.  A Golf Channel analyst calls Long Island golf fans a "stain on the game," and he's right.  The Royals get a great outing from Michael Wacha in a win over the Rays, a Sportscenter legend is retiring and an up and coming music star has been charged with a felony after destroying his hotel room.

   A couple months ago when UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer wouldn't allow the United States to access England's military bases while attacking Iran, President Trump said Starmer is "not exactly Winston Churchill," and the trap was set.  Fast forward a couple months and Trump gets yet another win as Starmer has announced he's resigning after his Labour Party is just getting crushed at the polls.

  JD Vance is leading the negotiations with Iran and it's off to a shaky start.  Shocker.

   Dems are traveling to DC just for the purpose of having a chance to ruin the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that Trump fixed... .including an Olympic athlete that has been arrested.

The grand opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Library and Eyesore went just about as you would expect.  It's still overbudget and not paid for, on stage they apologized for building it on stolen land and Obama himself talked about slavery.  Then it got worse.  Springsteen and Bono, who look like they have Ozempic Aids, sang sad songs and the whole place was a bummer than tried to have fake fun.  Who would have guessed?

   But here's a great story... the Marine Band at UFC 250 last Sunday night was so great they are all getting a bonus from POTUS and... one of his friends.

   The Royals welcome Team England to the K Thursday night as the Cardinals are in town.  St. Louis fans will get reminded, again, how much better of a sports city we are than them.  The US Open starts in New York as Scottie Scheffler tries for a career Grand Slam, the Knicks will be the first NBA team to visit Trump's White House and Jason Sudeikas suprise breakup with Olivia Wilde is revealed... by her.

   Argentina's soccer star Lionel Messi had a match for the ages Tuesday night at Arrowhead as he started quickly with a goal that was taken away by an offside call.  So he proceded to score three more!   All three in the match to be accurate as Argentina and it's 50,000 or so fans at Arrowhead went wild watching a 3-0 win over Algeria.  It was spectacular.  But how many Kansas Citians were there remains a bit of a mystery and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.  KC residents turned out everywhere Tuesday for free fan events and watch parties and we're clearly finding our stride.

   There were shots of some empty seats at Arrowhead even though 500 million people were watching on tv globally, and a Sports Illustrated writer posted a screenshot from a ticket service two hours before the start that had tickets for $69.  We cover all the stories, all over the country on today's episode.

   The Big 12's lawsuit filed against Ken Paxton and Texas Tech was just a stone cold killer.  The suit had nothing to do with the gambling quarterback, wait until you hear what their rock star law firm dialed up for the conference.

   It was the most epic Red, White and Blue weekend I can ever remember and it was topped off with a spectacular scene in DC for UFC Freedom 250 and a deal made with Iran.  Pinch me, if you will, because this just all seems too good to be true.  We are SO back and we are flaunting it everywhere from the soccer pitch to the Strait of Hormuz to the Octagon of Doom outside the Oval Office.  I voted for ALL of this.

   Jackson County charges two men for allegedly stealing England's soccer shoes and after hearing their names, I only have one question I need answered.
