   We've all seen the record numbers of gun sales the past few years in America as our communities get more and more dangerous.   In our own ways, we are all seeking to feel safer and more secure and it's often highlighted by school safety.   Recently, we were made aware of a new product being used in area schools, and a growing number of districts nationwide, that could make all the difference in the world protecting kids and teachers.

   She's not just the biggest singer in the world, Taylor Swift may be the only celebrity in America that really is changing the way we vote.  As the superstar invades Arrowhead this weekend it's no surprise liberal media will slobber all over her.  For a generation now, the singer has been teaching young white girls they are oppressed, men are bad and Republicans want to ruin their lives.  She's literally convinced millions how to vote while simultaneously cashing in on their vulnerabilities.

   Royals Chairman John Sherman held a news conference to discuss his rotten team and where he wants to build a $2 billion stadium.  The money line is his tough talk statement that its time to leave Kauffman Stadium and some are wondering if that includes another city.

   And Fox News is threatening legal action against Tucker Carlson saying his 10 minute video on Twitter is a breach of his contract with Fox.  I'll explain why this is a total joke and share my personal experience under a similar contract. 

   The merger between the PGA Tour and the Public Investment Fund in Saudi Arabia was a much bigger story than just for those that enjoy golf.  It was so big, it just blew Chris Christie and Mike Pence announcing they are running for President out of the water.  Then it got worse as a social media post by President Trump from 11 months ago predicting it would happen blew up social media.

   Tucker Carlson debuted a new monologue called Tucker on Twitter and 18 hours in it has 60 million views.  Some are calling this the end of traditional media but I'm not one of them.  We'll tell you why.

   Norma Hunt, the wife of Chiefs founder Lamar Hunt, has died at the age of 85.  Norma was the only woman to attend all 57 Super Bowls and is recognized around the sport as the first lady of football.

   The Chiefs are set to visit the White House and have a photo op with Joe Biden.  This should go well.

   In the first month with no Tucker Carlson, Fox News is in free fall losing millions of viewers.

   It's one thing for a person to trip and fall.  It's another thing for a person prone to tripping to have special shoes made to prevent it and then have handlers put him on a stage where there is a sandbag in the walking path.  Joe Biden isn't just frail and lost, his handlers are totally incompetent.  What a joke we are to the world.

   Missouri Congressman Mark Alford  voted NO for the new debt ceiling deal in DC with a perfect answer why.  "If Washington likes it, I will vote no," Alford said.  This is wonderful common sense as we are all stuck watching these greedy pols spend more money than they have.  If your spouse acted like this, you'd file for divorce.

   It's usually fun when people say things but it's really uncomfortable when you're a fan of somebody that steps in it.  Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz and Golf Legend Jack Nicklaus haven't hurt anyone, nor are they risking being cancelled for their comments, but they sure have stepped in it this week.

   Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw has responded to the Sisters of Indulgence inclusion at Pride Night in LA by organizing his own night at the park focusing on faith.

   It's pretty hard to explain why Donald Trump took a shot this week at a former aide that may be more popular with his voters than he is.   

   And a pair of conservative rappers in Florida have released a song called "Boycott Target" and it replaces Taylor Swift at number one.  The video is eye popping and was shot at a real Target store.

   With the silly news former governor Chris Christie has a super pac and will be entering the GOP race for president, it's obvious the field is too crowded.  The people running for fame or fortune, or in Christies case, just to bash Trump, are an embarrassment.

   Day one was so rough for Ron DeSantis he's already announced his "Campaign Kickoff" will be next week in Iowa.  It was only one day, but his reboot will matter.  People are watching him early and it hasn't been good.

   We've got a much better reason to boycott Target than their pride sections... it's their official response to what's going on.  Words matter and Target is clearly not interested in half of Americans shopping at their stores.

   After the Bud Light debacle, the parent company is offering a rebate that if you're a smart shopper, it equals free beer.  And not just Bud Light, their other brands, too.

   Ron DeSantis makes it official, he's running for president.  How it all plays out is anyone's guess but I can promise you this... it's going to get wild very quickly.

   Target Corporation is trying to avoid getting "Bud Lighted" by Conservatives.  Good luck with that.

   The protest against SM North teacher Caedran Sullivan fell flat Wednesday as students that want her fired walked out in protest.  But so did a whole bunch of students that love her.

   Media Matters is trying to do hit pieces on Tucker Carlson by releasing videos of Tucker on the set before he was on air but it's backfiring.  It's just making him look more normal than he already did.

   It was a great night as Kansas City and the Chiefs dunk all over the NFL for 6 hours... what a show at the NFL Draft!

   It ended with the Chiefs taking the Big 12 defensive Player of the Year, KSU's Felix Anudike-Uzomah.  This story is right out of Hollywood and we can't praise the Chiefs enough for drafting the way winners draft.  Oh, how times have changed since the "best player available" days of the past.

   I'll tell you which teams are stuck in the past and shocker, they are all losing teams drafting high and getting it wrong.  I love the fact half the league has no clue what they are doing.

   In Kansas, the Republican super majority overrides the governor's veto of a bill that mostly protects women but becomes the first in America to actually define what a man is and what a woman is. Way to go!
