This week on the Propulsion Swimming Podcast we are joined by Swim England CEO, Jane Nickerson MBE to help us answer all of your questions about how the current Energy Crisis and Cost of Living increase is going to affect swimming and the leisure industry in the UK.
Jane was one of the leading campaigners to reopen pools after lockdowns and is now leading the charge to get more support and funding for Leisure facilities in the current crises. We ask Jane why it's so important the Government helps fund the energy bills Leisure Centres are currently facing, and how everyone can best support the #SaveOurPools campaign!
Please use the linked templates to write to your local MPs, making as much noise about why your leisure center needs to stay open for you!!

On this week's episode of the Propulsion Swimming Podcast, we are talking about Mental Health, in line with Mental Health Awareness week here in the UK, and specifically Body Image and Eating Disorders in swimming.
For this episode, we are joined by the fantastic Amber Keegan, an elite swimmer at the City of Sheffield, who helps us discuss this important topic by opening up about her own journey through swimming with an eating disorder.
We hope by having this discussion we can give the others swimmers the confidence to seek any help they might need. We have both unfortunately lost a former teammate and friend to Mental Health. So it really is a topic we will forever discuss and promote as part of the Propulsion Swimming Podcast.
