Jai Maata Di ! Many of us completely misunderstand the Shiva roopam and its symbolism. Many devotees are scared of Shiva, as he is often mis-represented as the god of death - Shiva is not the god of death, he is rather death for the god of death- Yama, therefore getting the name MahaKala Kalanthaka. On the 29th of May- Tueday Full Moon Day (Pournami) - I was allowed to record this small prayer about the divine parents. The sloka talks about how short the life is and draws a parallel between lightening and life on the grounds of how short they are !  An hour after around 9.50 PM in the night, I was sitting outside and was preparing for my night meditation and I was allowed to capture the lightening in my mobile camera. The attached image with this podcast display the very power blindening lightening that flashed for a fraction of second - but captured in the camera forever. This 16 letter name makes an attempt to shine on the glory of "Mangala Sutra" - mother divine's Mangala sutra was achieved by series of near impossible tasks. The part-2 of the 25th Holy Lalita SahasraNamam

In Sanskrit there are 51 letters but the holy Sree Lalita Sahasranamas use only 32 of the 51 letters. This name explains the significance of the 32 letters, represented by the 32 teeth of Mother Goddess Lalita, 16 on the upper and 16 on the lower jaw. This name helps the soul's spiritual germination leading towards the Sree Vidya Mantra deeksha from a capable guru.  It is very difficult to see a picture of mother goddess with her lips open revealing the teeth(but for Kali and some other furious forms of Bhairavi - which are punishing the bad or killing the evil).  Using this name and chanting this name repeatedly a devotee will be able to see mother's sparkling teeth in meditation -it's a bliss beyond explanation !

This is an amazing story of devotion and dedication. Vrinda , a great devotee of Maha Vishnu  married to Shiva's son Jalandhara -curses her god Vishnu to become the Saligrama, while the Vishnu blesses her to become the holiest plant Tulasi, that is mandatory to complete all his poojas and vratas.
