In the Movie Review, Mike gives his spoiler-free thoughts on Deadpool & Wolverine. He talks about how Ryan Reynolds improved the character, Hugh Jackman giving us a different look at Wolverine, the mouth watering comic book accuracy but where the movie fell a little flat. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about Cuckoo starring Hunter Shafter. It’s about a 17-year-old girl who is forced to move with her family to a resort. However, the reality of the place is very different from the idyllic paradise she thought.

Movie Mike hops in for an emergency podcast to talk about the news that broke last night at Comic-Con in San Diego. Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the film franchise as classic Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom for the newly titled Avengers: Doomsday, due out in May 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars, bowing in May 2027. Kevin Feige also officially confirmed the Russo bros. will direct these next two Avengers films. Mike gives his thoughts on if he likes the decision to bring RDJ back, if it feels like a cash grab and the one worry he has that will be crucial to the success of the next two Avengers movies.

Movie Mike and Kelsey are back to recap all the movies they saw together in June. They share what movies are a must see and which ones to skip. One of Mike’s favorite movies of all-time is Twister (1996). He’s seen it over 50 times and was pumped to talk to the director Jan de Bont. Mike talks to him about what lines were improvised, the entire cast getting along and bonding, the hardest scene to film and if there’s anything he would change about the movie. In honor of that, Mike shares the best new movies that were released in the last year and are now available to watch at home. Venom: The Last Dance is the third movie in the "Venom" trilogy  and it brings back Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and his alien alter-ego, as they both are on the run from their species.

In the Movie Review, Mike and Kelsey give their thoughts on the Boys in the Boat directed by George Clooney. The film takes place during the height of the Great Depression. The members of the rowing team at the University of Washington get thrust into the spotlight as they compete for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Kelsey compares the movie vs the book and Mike explains why he thinks this movie is perfect for ‘school movie day’.  In the Trailer Park, Mike takes a look at Road House starring Jake Gyllenhaal.  It’s a reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton  takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems. It’s coming out on March 21st on Prime Video.

Recently, Mickey Mouse has entered the public domain after the copyright on Steamboat Willie officially expired. Mike was inspired by this and in this episode shares his Top 5 ideas he has for movies that should be made once these famous characters become public domain. He explains what public domain means and other characters that have recently gone into the public domain and people are already making movies with the characters without being sued. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about Hulu’s Self Reliance Starring Jake Johnson and Anna Kendrick. It’s about a guy who receives an invitation to win $1 million by playing a game where he must outwit hunters attempting to kill him. He realizes the hunters can only attack him when he's alone, but none of his friends and family believe the game is real. In the Trailer Park, Mike gives his thoughts on IF. The movie is about a young girl who gains the ability to see people's imaginary friends, referred to as "IFs" for short, who have been abandoned by the kids they helped.  Mike shares why this looks like it could be one of the best live action kid’s movies in years.

He gives his list of perfect parodies of famous films executed on the show during the 90’s.
