Lizz is back! She's got a new little one with her and is ready to share the birth story. First, a quick catch up as the ladies prepare for the launch of the brand new website. It's a post 4th of July pod and Kelly is continuing to live her best summer life. Being in her kid era, she spent the weekend playing the best pool games with the kids and making her summer notes. Lizz, on the other hand, is at the point in her pregnancy where she's too pregnant to go anywhere and unfortunately is not feeling great. She would rather have the third kid at this point than be pregnant anymore. 

Some new icks have been uncovered. You know when someone asks if you've heard a song and then sings it for you when you say you haven't? That's a new Kelly ick. Lizz is watching hospital packing videos on Instagram and getting so annoyed when it's obvious that the creators haven't used a single item they packed and just included them to get credit on Amazon. Ick! 

But the biggest part of this episode is the return of Colleen from Naming Bebe to make Lizz's dream come true - a baby name consultation! Will she find a name that both Lizz and Matty like? And what about the name Kelly? 

Kelly is back from her family vacation and is ready to make a bold statement: lake vacations are better than beach vacations. There is so much stuff you have to lug to the beach! So much easier when you can just throw it on the boat. While watching her kids play, Kelly came to the realization that they survived the baby stage. Is she peeking? Can you peek more than once? 

Lizz, on the other hand, is coming to the realization that having three kids is going to rock her world. Baby is due in 40 days and they still don't have a name. BUT the dresser is built, so all is not lost. Plus, she did a full baby haul on Prime Day and is planning to put together her go-bag this week so the prep has started. 

But the big news of this episode (besides Kelly's rib success) is that Side-Hustle Summer is BACK! To kick it off Kelly and Lizz are talking to Shannon, who started her own mobile spray tan business. Guess what happens when you're in and out of the hospital with your kids over a couple of weeks? You get sick. That's where Lizz at this week. Will she ever get a break? Kelly, on the other hand, is 11 weeks into her sugar-free journey and feeling great! So great that she broke down and bought an American Girl doll. However, it's totally a business expense! 

Some quick industry news reveals the Mazda leg room lie that Kelly is investigating. They say that the second row has more room, but by her measurements that might not be entirely true. She also started a new half-birthday tradition for the kids that really sounds like the cutest idea ever. Speaking of cute ideas, there may be a American Girl Doll trip in her future. 

Lizz found a new Base Model Luxury during the week of illness she is really enjoying. You know those serving platters you registered for but never use? Why not use them for a band-aid and medicine station! Kelly uses one for her bathroom products and it's been lovely. 

A trio of Advice Questions this week helps moms in different seasons of their car buying journey. R.E.P.S. is the new system in her house and this is an idea you are going to want to steal!

Before they Ditch the Drive-Thru, Kelly and Lizz give an update on their Lent accomplishments. Kelly has learned a lot about her health during her sugar-free journey and is ready to share it. The 40 Days of Less was a big hit for Lizz and has inspired her to keep clutter to a minimum. 

There's been some drama this week in the St. John household as Lizz ended up spending a couple of nights in the hospital with Sloan. What the doctor first thought was an ear infection turned out to be an infected salivary gland. An important lesson was learned: always check the lymph nodes! Over at the Stumpe household, things were a little more calm as they had an adults-only dinner with zero kids! They also have new residents at the farm with the addition of three new lambs and some baby chicks just in time for Easter. The timing is extra perfect as Tyler is about to become a Catholic. Plus, they are learning all the benefits adults gain from using a trampoline. Could this be the next workout trend? 

The internet has been full of drama this week and Kelly has SO much to say about the Barbie Dream Fest drama. This is NOT something you will see at The Car Mom Auto Show! Meanwhile, Lizz is still on her organization grind and has gained some new, inspiring tips thanks to social media.

Lasagna Soup
Ingredients
¾ lb ground beef, cooked
1 tbsp olive oil
½ onion, finely diced
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups marinara sauce
4 cups (32 oz carton) low-sodium chicken broth
¾ cup low-fat cottage cheese
6 oz (about 7 sheets) lasagna noodles, dry, broken into bite-size pieces
1 bag (6 oz) baby spinach, roughly chopped
½ cup (2 oz) mozzarella cheese, shredded
Optional toppings:
Fresh basil
Parmesan cheese
Instructions

1. Base: In a heavy-bottom pot, warm the olive oil. Add the diced onion and red bell pepper and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Meat: Add the cooked ground beef, marinara sauce, broth, and cottage cheese. Stir to combine and bring to a soft boil.
4. Pasta: Add the broken lasagna pieces. Cook according to the lasagna package directions or until al dente, about 6–8 minutes.
5. Spinach: Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.
6. Assemble: Divide into 4 bowls and top each with about 2 tbsp (½ oz) mozzarella cheese. Garnish with fresh basil and/or parmesan if desired.
