All difficulties in prayer can be traced to one cause: praying as if God were absent.

I may be blind, but with eyes closed, I see.
And by this Light, I move forward,
while remaining Still.
I turn to Him in every direction,
and say, ‘You’re still here', and know.

Every time you’re knocked off center today,
every time you lose patience,
every time you lose your faith,
you interrupt that the moment you close your eyes and say,
'You’re still here', and linger in the Silence after the 'here',
in the Love after the 'here',
in the Presence that you’re hearing.
Shhhhh....
And that’s the Shift.
That’s the Miracle that breathes life into the seeming moment,
that appears to change what is changeless.
