The Raw Truth About Copywriting

Bond Halbert, BondHalbert.com

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Kevin Harrington and Seth Greene Episode 762 Bond Halbert

Because of the book The Boron Letters, it’s well documented that Bond Halbert was given the most thorough education in direct marketing history directly from his father Gary C. Halbert but... Bond has continued the family tradition of creating marketing breakthroughs and showing professional copywriters how to write copy which brings in more sales.

Most recently, Bond published the very first book ever written on editing sales copy which many copywriters labeled an instant classic because it’s written in that characteristic Halbert style of being simple yet highly effective way of showing copywriters how to keep a prospect’s attention.

After copychiefing some of the largest financial promotions of our time, Bond pioneered many tactics for getting the highest email open rates in any industry.

After he passed away Bond and his brother Kevin took ownership of TheGaryHalbertLetter.com which is experiencing it’s largest growth spurt which Bond freely admits is built upon his father’s legacy.

Along with his brother Kevin, Bond continues to put out the very best copywriting and other direct marketing related products the industry has to offer, including the now famous Halbert All-Star Audio Series, The Halbert Memorial event and updated versions of his father’s famous books Max Money and The Boron Letters.

The brothers also started the now super popular Gary Halbert Copy Club on Facebook

Listen to this illuminating Sharkpreneur episode with Bond Halbert about the raw truth about copywriting.

Here are some of the beneficial topics covered on this week’s show:

- How people sort their emails by using different email addresses.

- Why it’s important to send emails to people’s primary email address.

- How there are three main phases in copywriting and what they are.

- Why keeping your audience engaged is very important for copywriters.

- How copywriters need to pay attention to the experience everyone is having.

Guardianship, Probate, and Estate Planning , Natalia Bevilacqua, Bevilacqua Law

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 761 Natalia Bevilacqua

Natalia Bevilacqua is an attorney licensed in Texas and Florida. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a dual major in Business Administration and Marketing and earned a law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.

Natalia started her private practice in 2014 with a goal of helping clients protect their legacy from unintended (and often harmful) effects of state-prescribed distribution of their assets that were earned by prudence and hard-work. When her clients entrust her with their most personal legal matters, Natalia prides herself on taking great care of them, which means speed to some, compassion and frequent communication to others, reasonable cost to someone else. With tremendous support from her family, Natalia built a legal practice that delivers desired legal results and produces satisfied clients. Natalia limits her practice to the interrelated areas of Probate Administration, Guardianship and Estate Planning. Probate Administration experience makes her a better Estate Planning attorney because she sees the practical effects of estate planning documents (or lack thereof) daily. Her knowledge of the legal process and deep compassion for families that find themselves in need of guardian appointment for their loved one, make her a great Guardianship attorney.

Natalia’s most proud moments in life are when she sees children being kind, thoughtful, happy, and productive people, and when a grateful client tells her that she did a great job for them.

Listen to this illuminating Sharkpreneur episode with Natalia Bevilacqua about guardianship, probate, and estate planning.

Here are some of the beneficial topics covered on this week’s show:

- Why it’s important for attorneys to focus on one field instead of dabbling in many.

- What probate is and why it’s important for people to seek legal counsel.

- How prepping in advance can help deal with the expense and delays of probate.

- Why going through probate is an expensive process for individuals.

- How the last thing people want to do is deal with court proceedings after losing a loved one.

Disrupting the Legal Industry

Galen Hair, Insurance Claim HQ

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 756 Galen Hair

Galen M. Hair, an aggressive and relentless litigator, is licensed in multiple states and boasts clients from around the world. With large wins both at home and across the country and an impressive record of favorable results, Mr. Hair gained a reputation for getting the job done both inside and outside the court room early on in his career.

He focuses not only on the litigation in front of the client, but the long term personal and business effects that his clients’ issues will cause. Viability is key and no small victory is worth it if the client is put in a more detrimental position. With both large firm and boutique firm experience, he combines a large firm comprehensive approach to a small firm low-cost model to achieve impressive results with minimal financial expense. His clients are family to him and it shows.

Mr. Hair has been fortunate enough to have several clients enlist him in “bet the company” litigation and has been tasked with protecting clients’ assets during litigation. He enjoys nothing more than fighting for his clients and his uses his unique work ethic, his diverse background, and his courtroom skills to do just that.

Mr. Hair is involved in several community-based organizations including Access Louisiana and the 610 Stompers. When he is not fighting for clients or raising money for a good cause, he is focused on skills enrichment – often attending continuing education “just to brush up.”

This unwavering success to continual improvement has led him to be named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, a Top Lawyer by New Orleans Magazine, the Pro Bono Publico Award and numerous other accolades.

Listen to this illuminating Sharkpreneur episode with Galen Hair about disrupting the legal industry.

Here are some of the beneficial topics covered on this week’s show:

- How many law firms don’t provide holistic services like Insurance Claim HQ does.

- Why it’s vital to have an intention-based business instead of a profit-based business.

- How sometimes you must make yourself uncomfortable to find success.

- Why you shouldn’t box your business into only offering certain services.

- How if you’re the absolute best at what you do, no one can ever catch up.

Corporate Crime Fighter

John Uustal, Kelley | Uustal

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 750 John Uustal

John Uustal is a founding partner of the Kelley | Uustal law firm in Fort Lauderdale. Uustal leads a team of fourteen elite trial lawyers, who have won some of the largest verdicts in the country. He limits his own practice to a small number of “cases that can’t be won for families that can’t afford to lose.” He has taken on some of the most complex and difficult legal cases of our time. His successes have resulted in safer fuel tanks, safer seatbelts, safer medical care, and safer equipment for firefighters.

That success has earned him some powerful enemies. A car company promised to bankrupt him, he was attacked and maligned by Big Tobacco, and he was threatened in Argentina after antagonizing government officials who had been complicit in Argentina’s dirty war. He has won every case he has tried against tobacco companies. He has won every one of his cases involving keyless ignition defects. He has been named Product Liability Lawyer of the Year by America’s Best Lawyers, awarded the Most Effective Lawyer for Product Liability by the Daily Business Review, and has been interviewed and chronicled by national newspapers and television news programs.

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 718 Leslie Lucy

Born and raised in Southern California, Leslie Lucy’s gift of childcare emerged at a very young age. Leslie did not start out as a preschool owner. While raising three children, Leslie realized that her passion was to be in childcare. When she realized her true calling, “to change the way we do preschool,” she went to Saddleback College to get her education in Early Childhood Development.

In 2003, Leslie was led to launch a pilot program at Calvary Chapel of the Canyons, where the Orange Tree Teaching system was put together. In 2006, Leslie launched the first Orange Tree Christian Preschool in Lake Forest. In 2011, Orange Tree opened its second location in Newport Beach and is currently extending its third branch in Costa Mesa, slated to open in September 2021.

As the #1 Best Selling Author of Girl, Get Your $hit Together, and for over 20 years, Lisa Chastain has been coaching, mentoring and advising millennials.
