Buying Business with No Money Out of Pocket

Carl Allen, Dealmaker Wealth Society

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 490 Carl Allen

Carl Allen is a world-class entrepreneur, investor and corporate dealmaker who has worked on more than 330 transactions worth close to $48 billion. In his nearly 30-year career, Carl has analyzed thousands of businesses big and small in 17 different countries across nearly every business sector, including technology, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, consumer goods and services, business services, retail, professional services, finance, packaging and corporate clothing.

Carl first earned his reputation during his 16 years on Wall Street working for Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard, Forrester and Gartner. There he advised some of the world’s largest corporations on investments, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring and helped hundreds of business owners raise both equity and debt financing. Until he almost missed the birth of his second son. That’s when Carl quit the rat race and began brokering (and eventually buying) businesses for himself.

Today he is considered one of the world’s premier experts on buying and financing small business acquisitions. Carl founded Dealmaker Wealth Society (formerly Ninja Acquisitions) because he believes starting a business from scratch is certifiably, BATSH*T CRAZY! He wanted to use his highly specialized skill set to help others realize their dream of self-employment didn’t have to be a long, hard, up-all-night slog with a 96% failure rate in 10-years. Today he’s helping thousands of entrepreneurs all over the world buy existing, profitable small businesses that will immediately put money in their pockets. And best of all — he teaches them how to do this without using a dime of their own capital!

Listen to this informative Sharkpreneur episode with Carl Allen about buying businesses without using money out of pocket.

Here are some of the beneficial topics covered on this week’s show:

●    How it can be more lucrative to buy an existing business than starting a new one.

●    Why mindset and mental strength is important when buying a business.

●    How the mechanics of a company do not inspire people to buy businesses.

●    Why people can’t always trust a business broker to care about their best interest.

●    How entrepreneurs need to build their networks to be the most successful.

Using a Data Driven App to Make Better Business Decisions

Dan Nicholson, Nth Degree CPAs

– The Sharkpreneur podcast with Seth Greene Episode 486 Dan Nicholson

Dan Nicholson is a lifelong entrepreneur, relentlessly curious and hopelessly sarcastic. When purpose driven entrepreneurs grow tired of spinning their wheels seemingly getting further away from things that actually matter to them, they call Dan for help. He’s had the privilege of completing a prestigious fellowship and worked for some of the largest and most successful companies in the world.

10 years ago he gave all of that up – mostly because he was tired of having meetings about meetings to eventually talk about what to actually do. Instead he spends his time developing tools and helping private clients and partners answer the one question all successful business owners are asking themselves “Am I going to be okay?” through his financial certainty methodologies. Financial Certainty is an unconventional way of looking at business growth. Instead of focusing on acquiring more, the focus is getting closer to the things that actually matter to the business owner/entrepreneur.

The first step to eliminating entrepreneurial anxiety is decreasing the uncertainty around reaching your goals and Dan has developed a set of proprietary algorithms to systematically decrease uncertainty and increase the power entrepreneurs have over their desired outcomes.

Dan realized what he learned in business school doesn’t work for small or medium sized companies. Small businesses owners need to optimize, so different framework. He’s building ideas on how to navigate decision making for small businesses. Book coming out called Seeking Certainty and the certainty app a tool for small to medium sized companies. Has a digital products company called Wealth Q and A. He is an equity partner in a lot of businesses. Wants to help people have certainty. Going to be on Hustle and Flow Chart and Half Past.

Listen to this informative Sharkpreneur episode with Dan Nicholson about using a data driven app to make better business decisions.

Here are some of the beneficial topics covered on this week’s show:

●    How there are many entrepreneurs who have their CPA license.

●    How small business owners are only working with one or two CPAs.

●    Why conventional finance does not work for small business owners.

●    How small business owners need to optimize their business.

●    Why many small business owners don’t make asymmetric bets.
