The Los Angeles Rams head coach and youngest ever to win a Super Bowl gets raw about his peaks, valleys, and everything in between — from almost quitting coaching after a 5-12 season to his wife's pivotal words that changed everything. McVay opens up about the Jared Goff trade, drafting Ty Simpson, giving Matthew Stafford clarity on draft night, and what leadership really looks like in the NFL. Plus the boys recap a wild Vegas weekend gambling with Dana White, the EA Sports Madden Rookie Premiere with 41 NFL draft picks, and the Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway fight announcement. Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. On this weeks episode the boys start off by talking about their trip to Nashville Superspeedway and their time with NASCAR. JP talks about how Will and Taylor were ripping the pace car around the track and who would do best in an actual race. Then the boys get into Matt's road trip that took over Bussin's socials last week. Unfortunately Matt isn't on this episode but Ryan and Mitch who made the trip with him are. Ryan and Mitch get into their favorite and least favorite part's of the trip from the 4 Corners to the Big Texan. Matt crushed the entire trip and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get paid to have a cross country road trip. Come and hang with the fellas on this Friday and as always, much love.

For The Dads is for every guy who needs a place to talk, vent, and laugh about all the insane, hilarious, and chaotic sh** (sometimes literal) that comes with being a dad.

Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing.

Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a recently new father who’s currently deep in the trenches of Fatherhood and loving every minute of it. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world.

Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way.

Episode 293 is HERE and The Boys brought in the big guns with none other than Nickmercs! Nick was a pioneer in the streaming industry with his early start in COD Ghost, to his blowup years playing Fortnite. Nick is now a father and a husband and is learning how to balance his full-time streaming job with family.

Recently Nick has also had to deal with controversy surrounding his stream. Twitch banned him for the use of a word that he at the time did not know was a slur. Nick is here to set straight that he has love for anyone and everyone and wishes a happy healthy life to all. However, Nick is strong in his convictions and beliefs. So much so that seeing the tyranny happening worldwide led him to attempt joining the Navy Seals.

Nick grew up wrestling and boxing. He comes from a family of CFB, and NFL talent. Something his father very much pushed him toward as a young kid. Nick had other plans. He and his dad (now extremely close) often fought when he was growing up, due to his Dad's lack of understanding the "gaming community" at its early stages. Nick and his father both talk about their healing relationship on the bus and how it now has effected Nick's outlook on raising his own son.

The brand that Nick has built is still growing to this day, as he is now looking to enter back into competitive gaming. He reminisces with Taylor and Will on his Gears of War MLG days.. his hunger for competition and the feeling of accomplishment that he gained from winning tournaments.

Taylor then talks ball and recaps watching Michigan's loss to Texas. Nick being a lifelong Michigan fan chimes in with his thoughts on the Wolverines. Both, then amp up Will's Cornhuskers. Could Nebraska officially be back? Will tells us his thought on the resurgence of The Big Red and his hype videos that he is making for Nebraska's home games in 2024.

We hope you enjoy this episode! We hope Mitch's timestamps below meet your expectations. We hope you look under your pillow later tonight.. and who knows.. maybe find a big hug.. and just the tinniest lil kiss you've ever seen!

Enjoy!

NFL Draft Reactions + Pittsburgh Recap | Inside The Bus

43 min Transcript
View

Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. The boys are back from their trip to Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft. Derrik was able to show the boys around his old stomping grounds and take them to his favorite spots. JP has a lot of glowing things to say about the city and said Derrik has a bit of motion up in Pittsburgh. The guys then get into how they feel about their respective teams draft. Derrik admits that he jumped the gun a little bit on the Steelers and after thinking about it more, he likes what the team did. Mitch is more on the fence of how the Chiefs drafted and wished they got another tight end to learn behind Travis Kelce. Coop thinks the Cardinals should no longer be a franchise and they drafted terribly even though they got probably the best all around player in Jeremiyah Love. Let us know what you guys think about the draft/winners and losers from the draft. Enjoy the Friday hang with the fellas and as always, much love.

Matt LaFleur then tells a wild halftime story with Mike Vrabel and Taylor Lewan while on the Tennessee Titans. Plus, Coach LaFleur breaks down Will’s infamous 1v1 in Oregon, talks about almost becoming the coach of Will in Green Bay, and opens up about what it will take for Jordan Love and the Packers to get over the hump. In this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Taylor Lewan and Will Compton travel to Miami, Florida! Mario Cristobal sits down with The Boys to discuss last year’s wins, next year's expectations and where the Hurricanes have seen improvement in the offseason.

In the intro, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan preview the NFL Draft, They call Delanie Walker “The QB Guru” to get his take on Ty Simpson’s draft stock. Afterward, The Boys give their Clean Takes (thank you, Kevin’s Natural Foods) and say Jacob Rodriguez is the STEAL of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Mario Cristobal pulled up and gave a masterclass. We got into how Miami really operates with defensive and offensive meetings, what it means to conduct elite practices, and why recruits need to see it live. He told the full Penei Sewell recruiting story and broke down how he identifies guys with the right DNA, mindset over hype. He didn’t duck anything either, from NIL and the idea that ball is still ball, to bouncing back after tough losses and the mentality inside the program when it matters most. We also hit on building Miami the right way, locking down South Florida, finding coaches that actually fit, and why he feels like he owes the program.

There are gems all over this one. From the Carson Beck transfer conversation to two freshman OL already making noise, plus his longtime relationship with his OL coach going back to high school. You get Taylor Lewan stories including some wild recruiting antics, a breakdown of Reuben Bain versus Lewan, and why the short arms narrative is nonsense. He also drops his one non negotiable, early is on time, talks Cuban coffee habits, hiring philosophy, and why you will never hear him say The U is back. Stay for the roast too, Coach held his own.

In this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan sit down at Notre Dame for an electric interview with head coach Marcus Freeman and quarterback CJ Carr. The boys kick things off with an epic intro as Taylor Lewan deep dives into his ‘Game Of Thrones’ watching experience and opens up about not wanting to be known as a liar. Will Compton also asks the age old question, “is Rory McIlroy the GOAT of golf?” plus the boys share BTS stories from their time at Notre Dame.

The interview dives into CJ Carr’s journey growing up in a competitive football family, choosing Notre Dame, and the mental toughness it takes to handle pressure at the highest level. Coach Marcus Freeman opens up about building a winning culture, handling adversity, and why discipline and accountability separate great teams from the rest. The group also gets into modern college football, from the transfer portal to keeping the locker room tight, while sharing stories you won’t hear anywhere else.

As always, the conversation doesn’t stay serious for long. The boys mix in hilarious stories about music taste debates, recruiting visits gone wrong, barbershop routines, and locker room traditions. From trash talk at Coach Freeman’s house to life after football, this episode has everything—football IQ, culture talk, and nonstop laughs.

With the Masters Tournament being this weekend, we decided to give you guys the only golfer we have had on the show. Everyone enjoy their weekend and enjoy a trip down memory lane with this episode.

Max Homa joined the pod while the boys were out in Arizona. Max talks about what life is like as a golfer on the PGA Tour. Homa tells the boys what the Waste Management Open is really like from the perspective of player. He tells some crazy stories and how he thinks the tournament is actually good for golf. After tournament talk, Max dives into how he got into golf and things that could/should be changed to make the "sport" more appealing to the younger generation. The Boys may be the good luck charm for Max as he just finished 2nd in the following tournament. Enjoy.

Taylor Lewan and Will Compton are back with another STACKED episode of Bussin' With The Boys! This week's guest is Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend and one of the greatest linebackers to ever do it, Lavonte David. In the intro, Will and Lavonte discuss golf, fishing and favorite TV shows. Will announces Bussin’s upcoming spring tour dates hitting Texas Tech, Miami, and Notre Dame. Lavonte may even show up to Miami to kick it with the boys when they’re there.

Lavonte David’s interview begins with Will listing off all of his accolades, only to then try to bully Lavonte into admitting he was Will's little bro during their time together playing college football at Nebraska. Lavonte is NOT buying it and the argument gets heated. Carolina Panthers legend Luke Kuechly FaceTimes in to settle the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year debate once and for all, and the results might surprise you. Lavonte then calls Will out for never having a signed Willy C jersey from him, which is honestly criminal. Lavonte opens up about the moment he found out Tom Brady was coming to Tampa, what it was really like playing with Gronk, and how the locker room changed overnight when TB12 walked through the door. This episode has everything — beef, FaceTime ambushes, Super Bowl stories, and Harry Potter drama.

Taylor Lewan and Will Compton are back with another STACKED episode of Bussin’ With The Boys! This week’s guest is none other than Nebraska Cornhusker great and Philadelphia Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens. The Boys have a ton on the docket this week with March Madness in full swing and the NFL Draft on the horizon.

Taylor Lewan kicks off the episode with a little Call Back section of fan submitted comments from last week’s episode with George Kittle. Will Compton addresses the haters that talked trash on his Nebrasketball Cornhuskers. Iowa fans have come out with a map of rivers to pee in that flow downstream into Nebraska in preparation for their March Madness matchup, and Taylor is still exploring different ways that the boys can go out as a crew with Delanie Walker, George Kittle, and others to go shut down an Applebee’s. The Boys close out the intro with Tier Talk fan submitted questions and give their Kevin’s Natural Foods Clean Takes.

Eagles Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens then hops on to dive deep into anything but internal happenings with his teammates in Philly. Cam lists his favorite flavors of Jurgy, his beef jerky brand and tells the boys how he thought his $30k NIL contract was HUGE back in 2021. Cam Jurgens is authentically loose and casual answering Will and Taylor’s questions on aliens, ghosts, and how to become unpossessed. Will and Taylor pick Cam’s brain on what it’s like to be on a Nick Sirianni coached team, how clutch Big Dom is in a pinch, and what it’s like to play with freaks like Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith. The pod then closes with some fan submitted questions.

Recorded: May 19, 2022 | JJ Redick came on the bus back in 2022 and delivered one of the most honest, insightful, and hilarious conversations the boys have ever had. From the jump, JJ gets into ranking players in today’s NBA, breaking down what actually separates the greats from the elites, and why those conversations get so heated.

The boys dive into the anxiety of starting a podcast and how JJ transitioned from the league into media, including the mental side of knowing when it’s time to walk away from basketball. They also get into a fascinating comparison between NBA players vs. NFL players and how differently each league operates behind the scenes.

JJ opens up about what it was like being one of the most hated college athletes in the country, sharing stories from his Duke days that shaped his mindset and career. He also gets real about his lowest moment, the routines that keep him grounded, and why therapy has played such a big role in his life both during and after basketball.

Things take a turn with one of the most legendary Tier Talk's in Bussin' history where the boys debate the best pizzas. The show ends with the ultimate debate: MJ or LeBron?

Will Compton & Taylor Lewan are back with another electric episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, featuring 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle. The episode kicks off with the guys diving into March Madness, fan submitted callbacks from last episode, and the latest NFL storylines before George joins the bus for an interview packed with deez nuts jokes and football talk.

Kittle opens up about his achilles recovery and gives his stamp of approval on Robert Saleh. The conversation goes everywhere — from conspiracies and Achilles injuries to Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, and locker-room dynamics around the league.

The boys also get into MORE Nashville food talk, Pokemon nostalgia, spring tour updates, and a heated George vs Will debate. The Boys then wrap the episode with some Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings talk while reviewing their favorite tv series. If you’re here for football insight, ridiculous stories, and unfiltered locker room energy — you’re in the right place.

Big hugs, tiny kisses.

On this episode of Best of the Bus, Travis Kelce joined The Boys on the bus during Tight End University, and it was epic.

Then the interview kicked off with Travis sharing hilarious stories about getting into acting alongside Adam Sandler and how the New Heights podcast has exploded with massive guests. The conversation shifts to leadership, the reality of NFL mortality, and what it takes to become a better teammate as your career evolves.

The boys joke about Jason Kelce being the favorite kid in the Kelce household and talk about how uncomfortable being in front of the camera can feel when you’re first starting out. From there, they debate whether the Chiefs got a little lucky during their Super Bowl run and what life after football might actually look like.

Travis also shares a classic “Welcome to the NFL” moment involving Clay Matthews and drops the bombshell that Catching Kelce might have been the worst thing he’s ever done. The conversation gets real as he opens up about the viral spotlight around his relationship with Taylor Swift and how TEU has grown into a must-attend event for tight ends across the league.

If you missed this one, make sure you give it a listen, and if you already listened, it is worth running it back with one of the biggest stars in the NFL.

On this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan sit down with country superstar Luke Combs for a wide-ranging conversation that starts in the football locker room and ends on the main stage. The boys kick things off debating whether concussions exist before getting into Luke’s high school football days, including being teammates with Caleb Pressley and watching Brandon Spikes be an absolute man amongst boys. From there, Luke walks through when he first got into singing and what it was like booking that very first show.

Luke opens up about moving to Nashville, learning the music business the hard way, and the relationships that helped him find his lane. He talks about breaking the mold in country music, whether he ever got jaded after blowing up, and who he wanted to meet when he first arrived in town. The conversation rolls through his favorite album he’s written, becoming a parent, whether he’s actually a fan of snow, and his diehard App State football fandom—including his thoughts on the current state of college football.

The episode opens with NFL free agency news, Maxx Crosby’s new deal, Ravens and Raiders outlook, an Andrew Luck vs. Joe Burrow debate, Justin Jefferson unfollowing J.J. McCarthy, Logan Paul possibly fighting NFL players, Will’s 40 time, BWTB stadium rankings, the White House UFC card, T-shirt contest winners, and Taylor’s Vegas trip. It wraps with talk about Luke’s new album, who he’s really a fan of, and a classic Bud Light question—plus country music, App State football, and balancing fame with family.

Big hugs, tiny kisses.

Recorded: January 20th 2023 | In this Best of the Bus throwback, the Boys went to Las Vegas where newest Baltimore Ravens pass rusher Maxx Crosby welcomed them into his home to hang out and talk ball. From kicking it with his dogs to diving into his long-term goals, Maxx opens up about the mindset and work ethic that drives him to keep improving every season.

He also shares what it was like being teammates with Antonio Brown and Davante Adams, giving the Boys a behind-the-scenes look at the personalities inside the locker room. The conversation shifts to the Derek Carr situation in Las Vegas and how Maxx processed everything as it unfolded.

Maxx then delivers a classic monologue about his All-Pro mentality and the standard he holds himself to—one of those speeches that’ll make you want to run through a brick wall.

With Maxx recently being traded to the Ravens, it felt like the perfect time to revisit this conversation from his days with the Las Vegas Raiders and hear the mindset that made him one of the most respected defensive players in the league.

Recorded: February 6th, 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Bussin' With The Boys. This week, Will is joined by friend of the show, Clay Matthews. Clay and Will dive into all of the headlines coming out of the NFL Combine from this past weekend. The guys get into what their experience was like at the Combine, for Will, his pro day. The boys get into what they were most nervous about and whether or not Will is more athletic than Clay.

Following the intro, Will and Taylor sit down with Super Bowl champion QB Russell Wilson for a real, unfiltered conversation about football, leadership, and the grind of the last few years. The boys kick things off by asking how Russ somehow has time to do everything—business, family, football—and how long he actually wants to keep playing in the NFL. From there, he gets honest about the struggles of the last three seasons. He has bounced around the last couple years and dives into what happened in Denver between him and Sean Payton.

Russ breaks down what the quarterback room is like in New York with Jaxon Dart and Jameis Winston. He also talks about his relationship with Pete Carroll while he was in Seattle. Russ gets into how Pete is able to keep his energy so high and what makes him such a great coach. Finally Russ gets into how much longer he wants to play and asks the boys what they did to prepare for life after football. He also gets into what it has been like and how he deals with the critics and “haters” when things aren’t going his way.

If you’re into NFL quarterback talk, comeback seasons, leadership, Super Bowl dreams, and behind-the-scenes insight into life as one of the league’s most talked-about players, this one’s for you.

Big hugs, tiny kisses.

Finally! The Boys had arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history, Gronk is on the bus. In one of the most anticipated episodes of Bussin’ With The Boys, Rob Gronkowski pulled up for a full-send, no-holds-barred sit-down interview with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, and it’s everything you’d hope for. From his hockey roots and college football days at Arizona to wild NFL draft stories, Super Bowl memories, and of course, partying like only Gronk can—this one is absolutely electric. Things heat up as Gronk gives an unfiltered look at the Patriots dynasty—how intense it really was in New England, what it meant to be “Tom’s guy,” and why he genuinely loved blocking more than receiving. He breaks down life with Aaron Hernandez, what Bill Belichick is like off the field, and the truth about the Brady-Belichick breakup that sent Tom to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and ended with Bill taking over at UNC. But it wouldn’t be a Gronk episode without some wild moments. He nearly got traded to the Lions, has more cameos than any man alive, and somehow never touched his NFL salary after entering the league. Add in some spicy Tier Talk and closing thoughts on life after football—plus a legendary Steve Harvey LEGO head spike—and you’ve got one for the record books. A certified Tier 1 banger. Gronk, The Boys, and absolute chaos. Enjoy this one again!

Recorded: February 23rd 2026 | On this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan sit down with former All-Pro defensive lineman Patrick Willis for a full deep dive into one of the most respected careers in NFL history. Patrick is joined by his former teammate and one of the boys, Delanie Walker, as well. Delanie and Patrick talk about their time as teammates on the 49ers and why the Niners locker room was different. The boys then get into Justin “Cowboy” Smith and share some stories about how much of a menace he was on and off the field in the best way possible.

Patrick takes us back to his college football days, breaks down what lead him to Ole Miss and whether or not he saw any money while there with Coach O. He then shares the exact moment he believed he could make it to the NFL and what he would do to ensure him making it to the league. Patrick opens up about retiring early and the injuries behind the scenes that pushed him to calling it a career. Patrick also gets into advice he’d give to current players as he was scammed out of a lot of money. Finally, Delanie and Patrick get into when the lights went out in the Super Bowl, and Delanie seems to think there was some NFL Illuminati behind it all.

If you love NFL stories, 49ers dynasty talk, Ole Miss football, locker room legends, and real conversations about life after football, this one’s for you.

Big hugs, tiny kisses.

Recorded on Recorded: March 24th, 2025 | On this Best of the Bus, Dale Earnhardt Jr. hoped on The Bus again and took the boys full throttle. From his early days rocking the iconic Budweiser colors to the not-so-glamorous reality of having to poop mid-race, Dale Jr. brings the perfect mix of legend and locker room humor. He breaks down pre-race nerves, the mental grind of NASCAR, and what it really takes to get a car into the Daytona 500.

The conversation dives into carrying the Earnhardt name, the one NASCAR rule he’d change, and the underrated chess match of “free agency” in racing. Dale also opens up about the pressure, preparation, and pride that come with being one of the most recognizable names in motorsports history.

But it wouldn’t be Bussin’ without getting a little off the rails. Dale talks biggest purchase regrets, his obsession with EA Sports College Football 25, and embracing his inner gamer. There’s Bud Light talk, a passionate breakdown of being a diehard Washington Commanders fan, and even some last-minute NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament bets thrown into the mix.

If you’re into NASCAR stories, , gaming talk, and classic Bussin’ banter, this episode was fantastic!

Big hugs, tiny kisses.
