A positive mindset can be ultra-important to improve your health.

Bryan Cressey, co-founder of one of the largest private equity firms in the U.S., has been vegan since 1997. He joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to share how eating a plant-based diet for more than a quarter century has helped him excel in business as much as with his own well-being. To Bryan, the benefits begin with your personal health and spill over into other areas of your life.

Also, revisit the day that Dr. Michael Greger and Dr. Neal Barnard broke the vegan internet! Chuck dives into The Exam Room archives to revisit a special live Q&A with two of the leading voices in health and nutrition!

Dr. Barnard and Dr. Greger answer these questions from The Doctor's Mailbag:

- How many nuts should you eat every day?

- Can vitamin D improve the immune system?

- What nutrient can naturally lower estrogen?

- How do the nutrients in white rice differ from brown rice?

- Should vegans have regular blood tests to check nutrient levels?

- And more!

Moby: The Heartwarming Reason I'm Vegan

36 min
View

Moby shares the heartwarming story of his love of animals and the epiphany he had that led him to go vegan.

Moby also remembers the animals his father rescued from a lab when the future music megastar was little more than a toddler.

Despite forming a bond with animals at a young age, he tells "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll that it wasn't until years later that he decided to stop eating meat. The pair also discuss why some people struggle to stop eating hamburgers despite their love for animals.

Moby also talks about using his body as a billboard for the causes he believes in.

And you'll find out what may be the most popular recipe in his newly released The Little Pine Cookbook, which features vegan recipes from a restaurant he founded in Los Angeles.

The research keeps pouring in from dozens of new studies showing that a vegan diet can supercharge your health!

Dr. Robert Freeman explores a mountain of data from the past year that links a diet free of meat and dairy to lower rates of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. He joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to share the exciting findings, including a 37,000-person study about red meat and its potential for creating health challenges.

Among the other studies discussed:

- Vegan vs. keto diets

- Olive oil

- Diet soda

- Cinnamon and blood sugar levels

Plus, Chuck celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Food for Life program when he is joined by Jean Myers. Jean was ahead of the curve when it came to healthy eating. She adopted a vegetarian diet in 1984 and became vegan in 1997, long before the plant-based diet boom that would come nearly two decades later.

She became a pioneer for what would become an award-winning nutrition education and cooking class that teaches an innovative approach to improving diet-related chronic diseases.

Jean shares her motivation for going vegan, her experiences as an instructor, and the powerful story of one student whose health transformation was so dramatic that she will remember it for the rest of her life!

A plant-based diet can help prevent severe cases of COVID-19 and may reduce the risk of becoming infected altogether, according to two studies.

Dr. Neal Barnard explores research analyzing the diets of healthcare workers in six countries. The findings show that eating less meat and dairy and more fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of severe infection by as much as 73%. However, a low-carb keto diet appears to significantly increase the likelihood of becoming severely ill.

Dr. Barnard and "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll also discuss a second study of nearly 600,000 people that not only confirms the protection against severe symptoms, but also reveals that a plant-based diet can provide protection from becoming infected at all.

Data on vaccine efficiency and safety, the delta variant, breakthrough cases, and infection trends is also discussed.

The truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth about soy!

Dr. Neal Barnard gives the whole story about the controversial bean in part 2 of the special menopause relief series. He joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to talk about the truth and lies about soy. Many believe that eating soy will do anything from causing cancer to making men grow breasts. But Dr. Barnard has decades worth of data showing not only is that not true, but soy can actually lower the risk of cancer and certainly will not leave men with anything they'll want to get off their chest.

Dr. Barnard also answers your questions about soy when Chuck opens the Doctor's Mailbag.

Plus, they continue their look at the groundbreaking new study on the powerful effect it can have on reducing hot flashes.

Chuck also speaks with Anne Marie Pedrick who shares her own story about stopping relentless hot flashes by adopting a plant-based diet that includes soy. Like so many others who participated in the 12-week study, Anne Marie's turnaround is unbelievable!

We are led to believe that dairy is the ultimate source for calcium, vitamin D and protein. It is essential for strong bones and without it you'd be as fragile as glass. Your health depends so much on dairy that there is a food group devoted exclusively to it.

What if doctors could write more prescriptions for the kitchen instead of ones for the pharmacy?

That is what Swich hopes to find out. The program encourages doctors to share a program with their patients that will show them how to cook healthy meals that can fight heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and other preventable illnesses that are claiming millions of lives.

Swich is more than just recipes. It's about teaching the skills to turn your favorite recipes into healthy plant-based masterpieces.

"The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll learns the genesis of the program, how it works, and how doctors can implement it into their own practice when he is joined by:
