I might have different tactics when it comes to sales but don't get it twisted because I'm a salesman through and through. Sales can be interpreted as a dirty word to a lot of people but at the end of the day, a business isn't a business without them. Since I've been a kid I've been in sales, and yes, I might like look a little different than what many people think of when they think 'salesman' but that doesn't mean I'm any different which is why I love doing events like this especially with a company as notable as Salesforce. Here's some special early access for my podcast listeners !! Later today we're releasing the short film to this audio and it's a message everybody needs to hear. Just because entrepreneurship is hot right now doesn't mean it's glamorous or for everybody. The truth is that it's hard and IT'S LONELY. When you're the head there's no blaming anybody else. When the buck stops with you, everything that's broken is your fault. I put out fires for a living. I'm a firefighter. Period. So if you're out there and you want to be a CEO or entrepreneur, you need to be ready to take all the pain that comes with it.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one. If any of you caught a recent DailyVee you know that I was a guest on the incredible YouTube channel, 'What's Inside.' If you don't know, they're a father and son duo who created a YouTube channel solely based on a science project they wanted to film one day. Not only have they grown that channel to more than 4 million subscribers but they are genuinely the greatest two people, incredibly smart, and I cannot wait to see what they do down the road. Unfortunately I can't say that my book 'Crush It!' influenced them directly but they are the absolute case study for what's possible in today's day and age. Just because Mark Zuckerberg put on a hoodie and built one of the biggest businesses in the world doesn't mean that EVERYONE can do the same. Mark is a special breed, who built a special product, at a special time. He's an assassin as a businessman and just because it feels like he did it overnight, doesn't mean that we all can become just as successful or even a fraction of it in the same amount of time. There's no shortcuts in life and everything that matters takes time. Stop rushing and looking for the easy way out because there is none - period. Guys - this might be the most important clip from any of my content TO-DATE. You're going to see it all over my channels today but the podcast listeners are first to get it !! This clip was taken from #AGV 244 where Taylor, a 22 year-old girl called in to the show. This conversation really struck a chord with me and I'm sure it comes through in this audio. Her actions just weren't mapping her desire and I know that her thought process is the same that so many youngins have and it's just not right.
