Two idiots pretending their boss isn't dead so they can talk to chicks and drink free alcohol. That about sums up the plot, but somehow this movie has stood the test of time and is widely considered a classic by many children of the 80s. The movie proves that a surprising amount of comedy can be wrung out from even the thinest of premises, but does that mean it deserves its spot or has it been horribly overrated by Gen X? It's a box many remember seeing on Blockbuster shelves back in the 90s, but only the brave actually took Dr. Giggles home and watched it. What they got was an insane movie about a doctor-pun spewing escaped mental patient who collects hearts to perform his own unecessary surgies. What's not to love? If there was a world where human cloning was real, are we going to pretend like Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't one of the first people that we would clone? In The 6th Day we get two Arnolds for the price of one and I couldn't be more excited to talk about this one. It may have flopped at the box office, and started to spell the end for Arnold's dominance at the movie chains, but there is still a lot of fun to be had with this one. Michael Rooker, Robert Duvall round out a great cast and it even has the bad guy from Ghost. What more could you want?

When Tim Burton hung up the directors hat and handed it over to Joel Schumacher, no one really knew what to expect. What we got was a Batman movie that was very different, but was it bad? This movie has more one-liners than a Rodney Dangerfield set, while still having insane action and peak-form Bruce Willis, so why did it fail? It didn't connect with critics and was an absolute disaster behind the scenes. It's a movie with a pilot named Maverick, a need for speed, starring a 5'8" actor - but it's not the one you wanted to see, instead, it's NEED FOR SPEED! Aaron Paul jumps into his first big Hollywood leading movie, while Michael Keaton never leaves the room he's in, and Dakota Johnson mails in a few scenes for good measure. Is it always safe to go back to the movies you once loved? Boondock Saints upon its DVD release had a period of time when it was beloved by men, both young and semi-young. Many dorm rooms adorned with posters and DVD's passed along. Having had our previous love affair with Boondock Saints, we haven't seen the movie in over 15 years and I'm concerned whether or not I will still love what I find. Sure, Willem Dafoe's performance will age like fine wine, but listen to find out if the rest of it holds up.

Sho Kosugi made a name for himself starring in ninja movies in the 1980s and after watching this it made us want to dive even deeper into his filmography. This is the third time one of his movies has been covered on our show, but the first in which he is the protagonist. This movie has more ninja gadgets than someone could carry, even though these guys seem to have 100 pockets each. It's 80s cheese mixed with legitimately awesome stunt work and insane plotting. Hope you enjoy it!
