Even though critics came down on this film hard, most movie-goers gave this movie a TEN!! So who is right? Today we look at Varsity Blues to see if it still holds up as a great football movie, a great teen movie, and a a great James Vanderbeek movie (do such things exist?). At the very least it has an insane performance from Jon Voight with a little bit of Paul Walker sprinkled into the mix. If you dislike football, you don't want this movie!

This movie is like putting the best football players on a team and then they lose to the New York Jets. A seriously stunning cast of actors, featuring John Candy, Richard Lewis, John C. McGinley, Ellen Greene & Charles Rocket just rolled out of bed and decided to make a comedy with the boldest of approaches. What if we don't land a single joke? Sadly, this movie is more remembered for being the last film made by John Candy (Canadian Bacon filmed earlier). The embodiment of "we have Platoon at home", this Cannon Film was a far cry from their normal excess and nonsense as it looks like they tried to make a serious Vietnam movie with Michael Dudikoff (the guy from the American Ninja movies). Then they did the most Cannon thing ever and changed the name after Platoon came out to sound just like it. But is it any good? You'll have to listen to find out!

Previous Hulk Hogan movies had him playing different versions of himself, and here he attempts to act and play a different character. It goes about as well as you'd expect. Not too many movies out there featuring Jet Li in dreadlocks, but this is where we find ourselves. Even though The One (2001) is rated very low by critics, some swear this is an awesome movie. The movie made us laugh, we're just not sure it was supposed to. It also features one of the best Jet Li fights we've ever seen. We go scene by scene and answer the important questions - how did Jet Li get with Carla Gugino? Why is the only thing different in each parallel universe his hairdo? Why does Jason Statham have hair, and why can't he fight in this? We'll pull it all apart, and then give out some awards, including our worst actor award, the "Steve Seagal" Trash Can Full of Dirt.

Lace-up your high tops, folks! We're about to journey back to 1984 and witness the classic/catastrophe that is "Breakin'" (1984). Directed by Joel Silberg, who I'm sure has lots of breakdancing experience, this film doesn't have a single cardboard dance floor or Adidas tracksuit.

We will break down the dance moves that somehow pass as the pinnacle of '80s street style. With a great soundtrack but a plot thinner than the spandex in an '80s workout video, "Breakin'" is a time capsule of dance moves and fashion choices that we thought were cool at the time.
