Marianne Hogan is a professional Ultrarunner from Montrael, Quebec. She has been on a roll in the last 12 months, clearly establishing herself as one of the best trail runners in the world. This summer, Marianne finished 3rd place at the Western States 100 -- her first 100 miler -- before following that up with a 2nd place at UTMB just two weeks ago. In doing so, Marianne became the first person to podium at both of the world's most important 100 mile races in the same summer since Kilian Jornet way back in 2011.

Adam Campbell is a Canadian mountain athlete living in Squamish, BC. He was one of my first inspirations in my early years as an aspiring pro trail runner. He's had an amazing career as an athlete but in the last several years, Adam has endured a few very heavy life experiences. In 2016, Adam had a near death fall in the mountains and in 2020, Adam lost his wife in a backcountry skiing accident. In this conversation, we talk about how Adam has dealt with the grief and guilt from the accident and how we can grow from overwhelming sadness.

Camille Herron is an ultrarunner living in Arizona. Camille has been one of the best athletes of our generation, winning the legendary Comrades Marathon and setting multiple world records. This fall, Camille won and set the course record at the Javelina 100 and broke her own record for the track 100 miler at Desert Solstice, solidifying a 2nd place in the Ultrarunner of the Year voting. Jill Wheatley is a Canadian mountaineer who spends much of her time climbing in the Himalaya. Jill and I met in 2019 and have developed a friendship and mutual respect. I have grown to admire Jill deeply for the person she is and the lessons she's learned and shared from a life changing injury she incurred in 2014. While teaching a physical education class in Bavaria, Jill suffered a traumatic brain injury that left her 70% blind and in the hospital for months. Jill has never regained her vision, but has returned to the life of her dreams, climbing, skiing, trail running, and generally living a life of purpose and passion. This is the story of how we can use the lowest moments of our lives to launch into periods of deep inspiration and growth.

Dakota Jones is an ultrarunner living in Bozeman, MT. Dakota is one of the best athletes of the last decade in the sport, with an amazing list of athletic accomplishments from some of the sport's most important races. At 31 years old, Dakota is now studying mechanical engineering at Montana State University with the goal of applying that education towards a career in environmentalism.
